What if there was a Big O live action movie?

I bet this has been dabbled upon before, but if there really was a Big O live action movie? Who would star in it? What would they look like in real life?
I'm not to sure as to the answers, that's why I want your opinion. The only thing I'm positive about is that Norman should be played by Sean Connery, no question about it.
Wow, Sean Connery is a better choice than who I had in mind, John Cleese.
This sort of reminds me of a thread I started, and of a thread I was reminded of that was started before that one....yeah....this has been brought up a lot, and everyone gets mad about it, since Hollywood sucks, but hey, it's a joke.

Brought to you by the
NO STAR VEHICLES Productions!!!
(Please ... no live action movie ... not enough time ... Hollywood screenwriters can barely spell ... directors would rather promote themselves than the story ... )
(*shakes from brief stint of working around Hollywood types*)

I'm thinking about it as everything was perfect. No bad director's, no shamless plugs. This movie will by Big O fans for Big O fans.
I can dream can't I?

Scary. If Big O ever DID have a live action movie, I'd totally kill whoever even thought up of making it.
Well....about the transformers or power rangers thing.....if they ever did re-make any of the episodes into live action episodes such as act 18, that would probably be the worst thing I'd ever see. Especially with my favorite character being acted by some guy who doesn't look a thing like Beck, and the whole transformers thing.....it would be a live action nightmare. O_O;;
Anyway, with a movie? I'd hate it. Unless if it was a big budget movie with a REALLY GOOD director and the right people to play as the characters. Hmmm...maybe that one girl I saw at the airport a few months ago could be Dorothy. I swear, she looked identical to R. Dorothy. Pale skin, shady, cold eyes, exact same hair color, exact same hair cut, quiet, and scary. She was even wearing a dress that resembled Dorothy's. Hah....oh well. I'm not very good at judging.
Hmm.....who would be Beck? That would be a scary thought. Maybe Beck would get another afro if there was a live action movie? Heh....it would be
very impressive if makeup people could do an afro that big.
Roger? Well, now that I think of it...there are some guys I've seen that look strikingly like him. My dad used to look like him, until he changed his hair color. >_o;;

Okay, agreed. No famous stars to overpower the story, no egotistical directors and producers, written by someone who has seen all the episodes and understands both the psychology and the style.
You're right, K, we can only dream.

Yes dreamdreamdreamdreamdreadreammdream. Now that that is settled please tell me who would look best as the cast in Big O.? I'm stumped and I just gotta know who you think would work. Whether it's good idea or not. Work with me people.

I perfected this concept about two years ago, tell me what you think
Roger Smith: Hugh Jackman
Angel: Ashley Judd or Sarah Michelle Gellar
Dorothy: Natalie Portman, Keira Knightley, Scarlett Johannsen
Beck: Ed Norton
Schwarzwald: Christopher Walken
Alex Rosewater: Alec Baldwin
Gordon Rosewater: BRANDO
Dan Dastun: Billy Bob Thornton or Hugo Weaving
Norman: Hugo Weaving or James Cromwell
I think with this cast and a good Anti-Spielbergian fantasy director, it could be the greatest picture ever made. But there would have to be more than one. Two, at least, maybe three.

Oh, going by looks alone. Excuse the misuse of time, some of them are dead, but they're still perfect.
Roger: Harrison Ford (time of Indiana Jones and Star Wars) (Actually, Brenden Fraiser could do it - see his performance in The Mummy.)
Dorothy: Christina Ricci (Addams Family)
Norman: William Powell (My Man Godfrey, The Thin Man, etc.)
Dastun: James Coburn (just for kicks ... )
Angel: Diana Rigg (original 'Avengers' Emma Peel - YEAH!)
Alan: Jim Carrey (why not?)
Alex: Marlon Brando (Godfather)
Schwarzwald: Jack Nicholson (Shining, Batman, Witches of Eastwick, etc.)
Vera: Bette Davis *bows in reverence*

I dunno...I doubt it would exactly sell well.
According to AS, there's what? 600,000 viewers? So, if all of us see it twice, thats only 1 million2/300 viewers going to the movie at least. Now I don't know much about movie revenue, but 2 mill is supposed to be S@#$? right? especially for a movie that we would want to have good actors and top special effects. I'll take a anime movie instead
As for actors though..hmm..thats a tough one..Sean Connery dressed up would be a kik ass norman, especially for scenes like in act23

I like it! Everyone looks good here except Norman. I've said it once and I'll say it again, Sean Connery is the only
only ONLY one worthy of playing Norman.

Aw, c'mon. Hugh Jackman would be a great Roger. He's got the looks, the shoulders, the capacity to go over the top when he has to without doing it constantly, everything. Look at what he did for Wolverine!
Keira Knightley most famously played Natalie Portman's double in Star Wars I, and she was just in the soccer movie Bend It Like Beckham.

Scarlett Johannsen played the girl who wasn't Thora Birch in Ghost World, the daughter of the friend of the main character in The Man Who Wasn't There, and was just in Lost in Translation.

Aw, c'mon, Baldwin'sthe right size and build, and Rosewater's a "coffee is for closers" guy.
Connery is just the easy way out.

I think you're right about Hugh Jackman. He just needs to work on his hair. Still don't like the women. Baldwin will need to gain a couple of pounds of muscle in the upper body before he gets Rosewater's role. And Connery is never the easy way out. NON-BELIEVER!
And Megadeus...what are you talking about?

Forget Live Action...just get Square to produce a CG movie version and let the voice actors curently dubbing Big O play their own roles.
Seen the FF7: Advent Children trailer? The Cg's just keep getting better and better.
