I own the Ultimate Edition. I am an official Escaflowne Fanboy It's an awesome movie with animation beyond your imagination. And a very deep storyline to boot

Oh, yes. You can get it on DVD. Its also available in original Japanese with subtitles (has lots of swearing )

My favorite OVA was Battle Angel/Gunnm
Favorite Mangas are Ranma 1/2, Battle Angel, Sailor Moon, One Piece, I"s, Video Girl Ai.. and too many more...

Oh, escaflowne kicks ass! I liked the TV series better, but the movie was really cool.

The Tv series had a better storyline, but the movie had much, much better animation. Best I've ever seen
