Seriously though, tell us how you really feel.

Ill admit, Im disappointed, but moreso Im worried....

Shallow as this may seem, Im worried Im actually going to miss the end of the series, the last episode, when Cartoon Network finally does re-air it sometime. Im not too up to date on when things show and occur, I guess Im a creature of habit....so if something changes, Ill probably be too late when I finally adjust to the new programming schedule.

I imagine its a joke of some sort revolving around their whole "Halloween will kill you" theme they had last night. Its too bad it happened, but I doubt it was a mistake on their part. They planned it somehow...

So, yeah, Im disappointed, but like the "show" in that it must go on...life will go on as well...

Hopefully Ill catch it when it airs on a different date...

Anyway, like Adult Swim said before 'Next week is the last week of Big O.' or whatever they said. Close enough. Well, if they put on some episode that we already have seen millions of times (at least for me), then how come they son't show the last episode on the last week? That is so sh**, man. That is all crap.
I dun' wanna grin and bear it!!
I wanna watch Beck on the last episode!! I wanna see how many questions will be answered!!

Well, morning has come and still nothing has shown up on the AS boards.

I'm very disappointed in how AS handled this. They left the board mods pretty much sweating it out last night as thousands of posts started to emerge, all pretty irate at episode 26 NOT playing but also that it appeared that the AS folks were enjoyiing themselves at the webcam party and enjoying the negative response from the boards. (Some of those threads have been deleted in which people described how people on the cams mooned them, held up signs essentially telling them to get a life, etc. etc.)

Regardless of what people say, I pay for cable because of Cartoon Network. It is the only reason I have subscribed and pay nearly 40 dollars for the service. So it's "not free" for me, and therefore I feel that CN has to remember that its base is hundreds of thousands of subscribers who pay for access.

Granted most shows on CN have no continuity issues and don't have real ends and beginnings hence they dont' have experience with seeing this sort of reactions; however, I still expect better from them since they are not some little start-up cable company but have been around a long time.

If I don't see any announcement by COB today I am going to be even more disappointed. I would like to know if any of you have an email or some other way of getting in touch with Adult Swim and Cartoon Network programming.

At least an apology would have been comforting. But no. I mean I'm not mad so much just really disapointed. I hope nobody's thinks this is weird but it's the one thing I truly look forward to all week. I'm quite busy during the week, I have school,babysitting,my friends,my hobbies! I hardly ever get the time to watch a lot of T.V. and any free time I get I spend here(internet junkie).

I don't know what happened last night, because I wasn't there, but all I know is that we wrote that Dad stuff well over a month ago. We were told that last night's Big O was going to air, hence the tomato reference.

And the two new episodes last night referred to Brak and Aqua Teen.

It was all a Halloween stunt (as we call it...or a "marathon" as most people would call it). All of the episodes had a spooky gruesome theme to it.

If there were listings for a new Big O episode last night, that was a mess up by whoever posted the schedule. Not Adult Swim.

No I wasn't at the party.

And we wrote Dad's tomato references to that particular episode.

I'm sure that it is their intention to air the episode. They're not cold, heartless and stupid. They're not sitting in their evil mountain lair thinking "How can we s c r e w with the viewers next?"

If you're going to blame anything, blame Halloween. That's why we did the stunt.

Stunt. Not meaning "prank," but, basically, I don't know, a stunt.

It's what we in the buisiness refer to a themed night or day or few hours. Any time you see a scooby marathon or christmas in July on Cartoon Network, it's referred to as a "stunt."

It's an event that brings attention. There. That's a good definition.

I was just wondering will their be caption for the spoliers? Because I already saw them ,but my japanese sucks so I'm confused..

I rarely startle. However, at 11:00 last night my jaw hit the ground. Arrrggggggggg! Stripes is great though. I don't have any of the season 2 episodes recorded so it was good to rewatch it and see all the stuff I didn't notice before. However, I'm not in a great mood about it in general . . .

There have been a lot of extreme reactions to this stunt on the AS boards. Last night when I checked the boards I could hardly believe that they were choked with *Big O* threads . . . and I arrived there long after the deleting spree . . . At least it shows that Big O has (had) a much bigger fanbase than I'd suspected.

If this was a mistake, I can forgive. If this was a poorly done Halloween joke, I can forget. I don't know anything about managing something like Cartoon Network, but it seems like a very very bad idea to promise something as big as the Big O finale and then jerk it away from us at the last minute with no warning. I only want one thing from AS: an explanation . . . and perhaps an apology. I'm still waiting . . .

........Well, that was quite an interesting night. The funny thing is that I distinctly remember leaving yesterday saying that this forum was a powder keg ready to blow; to bad the explosion was not of the desired kind .

I must say that I have two reasons to feel a very small amount of joy - Stripes was one of the episodes that I missed, and it seems that, for better or worse, many people who have never posted but have been around for some time final broke their silence - which is a plus .

Well, either way, I've read though almost the whole of this thread (the full pages of "WTF!!" reactions were a bit amusing), and I must give my thanks to Krang and Shredder for your arrangements. Thanks also to Zola and Bentar for keeping us up to date about what's going on with the adult swim. So it was a "stunt" - or so he claims - and someone messed up on the schedule. Hm. Pretty elaborate f*** up, if you ask me. We'll see. But thanks either way .

Again, I don't know what is truth - and, unfortunately, I don' have the time to find out as of know - but eventually, I will, and untill then I'll do what I typically do - give them the benefit of the doubt, and hopefully see what really happened eventually. If it was a mistake, I'll forgive - I'm understanding, and one extra week probably won't kill us .

Edit: Well, after hearing some info on what really happened, I'm glad that it was just a mistake . I give thanks to Andy and Kim for giving an official word and I apologize to any AS people that I may have offended .

95259.1 From what I hear now, it was nobody's fault over here. If people were offended or insulted by behavior during the web party, then that was an unfortunate bit of immaturity.

Okay. So, here is what I've heard. The schedule on our side was true. They promos were true. We had espisode 26 scheduled. We had episode 26 promoted. The tape over at the actual "master control" (the place where they have the tape inventory) was labeled 26. The tape that was labeled 26 was really episode 20.

Whoever was making the dubs messed up.

I haven't heard about when 26, will air, though. Sorry. I'm telling you all I know.

That was before I knew the full poop. Plus I said that that was the episode that we were given. We didn't know if it was 20 or 26 or 2 or 15. We just knew that that was the planned episode.

So, that leads me to believe that the tape was mislabeled a long time ago.

Seriously, if any of you have a log-in to the Adult Swim Forums, one thing that would be really nice is if you went over and said something nice to Andy for taking the time to CARE and find out what happened.

This was certainly not intentional, and it's still not quite clear how the mistake was made. We're very sorry that this happened, and we want to make it up to you. Here's the plan:
Big O, "The Show Must Go On" will air at 11pm next Sunday, November 2.

Family Guy, "When You Wish Upon A Weinstein," an episode that's making it's television debut on Adult Swim, will move to 11pm on Sunday, November 9.
