Episode 26 Discussion (The episode that didn't air)

Well, if anyone stayed up to see act 26 you may as well go hit the sack.

Remember when WCW used to screw up and air WCW Thunder in a mixed up order that made no sense? A few hours later, for the re-peat, they'd fix it and air the Correct WCW thunder.

I was expecting them to do that with Big O

Honestly I'm not surprised they didn't fix it, I'm sure most were at that party, and drunk to the point they really didn't care. Actually I'm pretty glad they didn't show it, I'd feel bad if I saw it and Big O is not pleased guy didn't get to see it tonight as well.

Simply flaws of humanity, but eh nothing we can do about it. Other than bitch of course.

I couldn't Believe it, I was so enraged... I laughed. It was the worst thing they could do to people who have waited so long to see this, what a Mockery it was.

But the I got to thinking, Why they did it?.. Many Choices.. intentional twisted Joke? a Mistake?.. or The Reason "When You Wish Upon A Weinstein" of family guy, They put this Episode off for months. Scheduling it then pushing it back again and again and again... Big O was the perfect foil to push it back again. Big O Fans go nuts wanting their Finale.. But Family guy is in the way. Which one do you AXE?

Now I'm going to go for the rest of the night trying not to go completely insane and burn down Williams Street.

At least I got to see the Episode I missed last month.

I'm a wrestling fan, moreso WWF/E than WCW, although that does sound familiar. At least WCW would realize their mistake and do something about it- it at least shows some respect for the fans...

They are starting at the beggining of Season 1 I wonder if this means they are going to show an alternative episode 26? Because it was popular enough... this is the only logical reason I can think for this fun little event. Besides you know it was a mistake or a cruel joke.

It not as easy as that. If I remember correctly Adult Swim is a edited as a block. They sell the commercials then edit those and the episodes into one master tape. So basically any mistakes that happened in the first showing would be in the second showing. Unfortunately, it just isn't as simple as putting in the right tape during the rerun.

Not that I wasn't hoping though.

And thus concludes an unfinished chapter in the Big O saga. How will they go by doing this? Air it next week? It's a hyperthetical question because nobody know the answer except the AS employees.

Seems we all were expecting a Treat, instead it was a Trick. What irony.

That does sound like it has the ring of truth to it. They probably put the episode and all commercials on to some sort of digital mixmaster jukebox, and basically press play for the entire AS block - quickly reprogramming it would probably not be easy. Especially drunk.

Yeah and I Somewhat expected them to do the same for us.
But I guess for whatever reason, it was out of their controll.

When I saw the words "Act 20, Stripes" I nearly fainted and then wanted ot punch something.

As a matter of fact, I'm still in the middle of watching the first Big O show of the night right now (yes, I do live that far west, farther west than California anyways). I"m fervently hoping that they'll fix it in another three hours, but its not likely.

Pardon me, while I scream...

I wouldn't expect the fix, I live in Cali also and use sattelite to get things 3 hours early, and for me the Second airing just happened and it was stripes again.
