More Eva? Geez. And I still haven't bought FLCL...and can happily say I still have no plans too.

So... Neon Remix Evangelion? You think they would have learned by now. I taped all six episodes of FLCL before so I'm good in that department. Also, I'd have to see the shirts first before buying them.

According to ANN, these aren't truly EVA remixes--they're essentially side-stories and sequels. But what the heck! I never bothered to see the movies since I was underwhelmed by the series, but as I understood it, End of EVA was pretty conclusive. This is pretty rediculous, especially with the live-action movies on the horizon. Regardless, with EVA and Trigun coming back for new movies, BIG-O, which had far less of a conclusive ending than those two, should be given some more material to finish it up. Oh, and how about continuing Berserk, too.

Oh, then that will be much more interesting than a remix I think. Also, I'd like to see more of RahXephon myself.

A Big O prequel wouldn't be too bad as well. With a Norman and Michael Seebach episode to add that is.

The First Volume, REBUILD OF EVANGELION:01 is due out in early summer 2007 it will have an estimated running time of 90 minutes. The Second Part, REBUILD OF EVANGELION:02 is expected in January 2008, also with a running time of 90 minutes. The Latter Part + Last Program of the series, REBUILD OF EVANGELION:03-04 are expected in early summer (possibly June) of 2008, they will have an estimated length of 45 minutes each. Additionally, ANS has learned the 3rd part (Latter Part) (which corresponds to the events of the movies and episodes 25 and 26 of the TV series) and the 4th "Last Program" will be mostly new stories and material. Parts 1-3 will use some key animation sequences from the original TV series, with new backgrounds (settings) and music.

Japanese fans have questioned whether this is a hint at Rei And Kaworu's possibly being at the center of the new story or getting expanded focus in the course of the story of the films.

Yeah, you really need to move out of the fantasy world you've created for yourself and get a life. In case you haven't realized, this isn't a Fanboy filled Anime obsessed nut house like the Anime forums you're probably used to. On the topic of more Eva:

This bites. I really wish they stopped after the TV show. It ended well. We had a semi-happy ending. Then they released the alternate ending which just bit ass, and now this. Let a successful semi-decent franchise die in peace.

By the way, Asuka has to be one of the most annoying anime characters I've ever seen. She ranks high on my list of most hated tv/movie/book/video game/anime characters ever.

Rei looked fine for her personality. She was my favorite EVA character, and one of the few that never annoyed me at any point. I really felt for her, and it annoyed me that Asuka treated her like dirt and acted as if they were in some sort of competition. That doll explanation is also not a legitimate reason for how she acted towards her.

If the shirt just had that red symbol that periodically appeared on canti's monitor, and the material was of a fair quality it would probably be as..non-obnoxious an anime related shirt as I can really think would be possible.

Either way, at this point I just wish I could have made that dvd recorder work so I could have rounded out the set by recording the first two episodes last time they ran it. Apparently they stopped making the dvds (or I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere)

Not sure if many have heard about this, but Capcom is making a 13 episode Devil May Cry anime due out next spring. Animation is done by Mad House. If this tanks, I'm so going to laugh.

Dude.

That means they have to develop on a an already sh**ty and almost nonexistent story.
