The All Important CLAMP Thread - Update: Studio Tour/Ask CLAMP

I just had to say that I made it to the book store today and purchased he Snow Princess book by CLAMP.

Oh my! It is soooooooooooo beautiful! A must have and I mean it. I nearly cried after reading the first story about the wolf. It just tore my heart. I was so close to tears.

I love how beautiful the drawings are and the tragedies are so...heartwrenching. I think the final story is the only one that has a conclusion that is somewhat happy, but Oh I hope CLAMP does more like this. It was just beautiful!

I've only seen that book once at Barnes and Noble.

I was going to get it! But i decided to get Man of Many Faces instead! You were right Pen! It's so adorable! I can't wait till Friday! Their style of drawing is very good. However, the only anime I've seen of their work is X (the movie) and Card Captor Sakura, which was the edited version.

Yeah...yesterday I decided that I needed to buy a CLAMP title and I'm not disappointed (especially with the way life it at the moment)...that first story is going to stick with me for a while (it has more meaning today...cause I read it to Dexter *teary smile*). I do hope they do some more tragedies. I'm just...oh, I just love it.

Ya I know I have it already, I was just woundering cause there was only one copy out and I haven't seen any others. What the "X" manga about? Basically the end of the world, and it revolations around the & Harbringers and the 7 Seals. A definate must have for any CLAMP fan. It's a whopping 14 volumes, but it's worth it. (other note, only 4 more volumes to go! )

Mine are Kamui-chan/Kotori-chan, Sorata-chan/Arashi-san, Sakura-chan/Syaoran-kun, Tomoyo-chan/Eriol-kun (Kaho-san's waaaaaayyyyyyyy to old for him in my opinion), Hideki-kun/Chi-chan, Kohaku-chan/Shuichiro-san, Hisui-san/Kokuyo-san, Souh-kun/Nagisa-san, Akira-chan/Utako-chan, Misaki-chan/Koutarou-chan, and Misaki-chan/Ohjiro-kun. Rather long list ehh? This is not including my favorite Shounen-Ai couples.

Well, CLAMP reigns second as taking over my collection (or else is it about equal to Mars).

Boy...looking at my list, its awfully short when it comes to CLAMP, but then, I do kinda have a small Manga collection to begin with.

CLAMP is still worth it though. I've decided to make a point to buy a CLAMP title when I buy any manga now so that should help expand my collection .

That's it. It's the only CLAMP couple I have seen so far.

Agreed. I loved her voice the first episode, but it starts to get annoying after that.....like in epidose 9. It's so high pitched and the way she's potrayed is so....bad that it might turn fans of the series off the anime!

Minoru-kun had an awsome voice though. Who plays him? Gotta check the DVD.....

There is only one vol. of Miyuki-chan in Wounderland? Where did you get you MKR I box set? The Waldenbooks where we get all our manga (maybe Suncost) doesn't have it, but they do have MKR II.

Yes Miyuki is a unique 1 volume tale.....Search around. Some Walden has to have it. I got my sets from two different Waldens.

Now, has anyone read Tokyo Bablyon? Since I've been broke more than usual lately, I put of purchasing this title, but now v. 2 is out and I don't want to wait till it has 34 volumes to start it. I know it's about Subaru-san from the X/1999 manga and his sister, but has anyone read it/recomend it?

BTW Pen1300, have you gotten any farther with the X/1999 series?

No, but I have seen the two-part OVA of it. It was OK, but wasn't the best anime in the world. The art was very good, however.

OMG! I just got Shirahime-Syo and Pen1300 was right! It's sooo sad. I swear I started tearing up at the end of 'Ice Flower' I would seriously recommend it to anyone who's thinking about it!

I also got Tokyo Bablyon , due to the fact the stupid book store didn't have Man of Many Faces v. 2 (grrrrr) It's such an awsome story. It's hard to believe Seishiru-san used to be the way he is the this book. I'm accustomed to the

Barrin, my brother, said that there are only 2 vol. and it comes before the X series. I thought about getting it a t Suncost this past weekend but I didn't.

I spent 46 dollars of my birthday on 11-14 of X/1999 (and an Alice 19th book)

I'm so confused. Honest to god, the series gets....freaky after 10

I don't even know what's wrong with 12, there's like a screw up in the 'binding' which makes the whole thing confusing. I don't if it's over, since it end by showing......someone who...is supposed to be dead.

I'm confused. Does anyone know if there's a book 15 or a sequal or something. My mind is a big ball of mush thanks to 11-14.
