Mystic Meaning of Your Avatar

Mine is Medusa from pet Shop of Horrors! ^____^ Zola made it for me.

Anyway, Medusa was one of the "pets" that a young actor, Robin Hendrix, bought from Count D's pet shop after his wife left him. She is supposedly a reptile (she has a tail), and Robin was told never to take off her mask.

Well, I'm not going to spoil the ending!

Mr.Ash is a charecter from the first Twisted Metal and is the original driver of Darkside, my favorite vehicle. Just the way he looks is intimidating and cool.

I think my avatar is self explanatory. The desire of my life, twirling a knife, ready to let me have it. Only if domestic violence was so romantic.

Mine is from a comic I make...I would show it to you gus...but it's so confusing and nerdy that your heads would explode.

My current avatar is the image of Jerry Siegel and Joe Schuster, the co-creators of Superman. Two men who managed to take their gawky teenage nerdiness and use it to create not merely a character but a mythic icon that transcends story and plot.

Consider them the patron saints of otaku.

Before this, I used the image of Alan Moore, the creator of the original League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, as well as a preserver and adaptor of much comics literature. Every work of his with existing characters shows a loving knowledge of the mythos, and all his original work displays hios reverence for the work that has gone before.

He may be considered the patron saint of fanfic writers.

Well I am not sure of what mine is of... Mabey something "Big"... Probably "O"-ish I dunno if anybody figures out what my avatar is and actually responds my n00b detector might blow up...

I was just about on the verge of asking you about it, since Shuster (I assume, in the glasses) bears a passing resemblance to Dr. Asimov in that image. Well, one mystery down, 10^23 to go.

Hm...I'm still a bit foggy on what your avatar is Big O

Mine has change. Last time it was Evvey (probably SP) from Mummy, and also Lenore and the Snowmen from Comic Book #2 (negative), but now its the girl from Winter Night Phantom from Big O. She's become one of my fave characters recently and the whole "negative" image was cool and I used her "quote."

I made a crap load of avatars recently since I learned I can shrink pictures without compromising quiality.

Look forward to the mystic avatar of February. The artist will probably not remember I asked to use the art, but I had permission. Also, it looked beatiful when I shrank it. (maybe I should use some of the fanarts as my avatar, only fitting as to the forum I mod)

Its actually the CD cover for the Cowboy Bebop CD "Vitaminless", I thought it was really cool so I edited it a bit and made it my avatar

my avatar has no mystic meaning becuase it is a screen cap of a charactor i liked and edited(barely) to be a small picture i used on the interweb

My current one (January) is from a painting my friend up in Boston did of me about four years ago. Yes, my eyes really do look like that. It's an unbelievable likeness.

The blue crescent on the forehead is the'Kiss of Cerridwen', a sign of an Avalon Priestess from Marion Zimmer Bradley's The Mists of Avalon.

Meh most of the New School stuff is based on the old school style Tall men, really friggin sexy women (FUJIKO!!!) and the occasional womanizer (Miroku ((sp?!)), LupinIII ((DUH!!)), Vash...!?)

Also the scene realy needs to be viewed completely for the full effect. Trust me. On it's own it's freaky...but with the rest of the scene, it's FREAKY! (in a good way!!)
