Mystic Meaning of Your Avatar

To respond to corrupt, my avatar is the show logo from Andrew Lloyd Webber's most recent musical, the Woman in White (it opened in London in 2004, and opened on Broadway this past year). I just find it to be a very lovely--and somewhat haunting--image, and I have to admit I have fallen in love with the musical's soundtrack. I have still yet to see it, although I have heard some pretty good things from my friends who have--despite the words of some critics (who were less impressed with the musical and its score).

Speaking of which, my user title, location, and signature are also nods to this musical.

My location, "Black Water Lake", is the name given to the lake that figures rather prominitely in the musical by Anne, who is the Woman in White. She dwells and appears there several times over the course of the first act. I think the lake's given name also gives it a rather haunting air, which fits right in with the musical's persona.

My user title, "[t]he Moderator in White", is an obvious nod to the Woman in White...I just replaced Woman with Moderator, as I am no woman.

My signature's meaning will be dealt with in the appropriate thread momentarily.

My avatar is cropped from a graphic I did for a friend's magazine. Since I *am* the epitome of the mad scientist/Daedulus archetype, I figured it was apropos

The current avatar right now is of Shinji and Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Thanks to the two movies (Death:Rebirth and The End of Evangelion) that I recently got for Christmas, my interest in Evangelion has increased. I just need to finish the TV series now.

Besides that, there is also a theme that I am currently doing. Starting with the avatar from His and Her Circumstances, I have been making avatars of the main couples in the series. The last two were from The World of Narue, and the current one is from Evangelion. Also, if you look in my profile, there's a quote that also matches the avatar: "The nice partner in front of you is the woman who will send you to hell." The quote is from His and Her Circumstances. That's the meaning between the recent avatars.

After the last avatar (Genis / Genius and Presea from Tales of Symphonia), I decided to go for an AIR theme this time. The person in the avatar is Ryuuya who appears in the Summer Arc. Quite a cool character, in my opinion.

My avatar is the 3 main characters from blackadder goes fourth, captain blackadder (rowan atkinson) george (hugh laurie a.k.a house) bauldric (tony robinson)

My avatar is of Alphonse Elric in his human body. The whole picture is of Alphonse and Edward Elric sitting under a tree with Alphonse looking off in space and Edward sleeping with his head resting on Al's shoulder. I fell in love with the picture because its details one of the many ascepts which I think FullMetal Alchemist is great for: Alphonse's and Edward's brotherly love for each other.

And besides, I didn't have too many pictures of Alphonse in his human body and I really liked this one.

My current avatar is of Yukito Kunisaki from the animated series AIR. This scene was taken from episode 3 [~whisper~], where his left eye is shining very brightly. I decided to turn this into an avatar. He is also my second favorite male character (Ryuuya being the first one).

After that, it's Hijiri, Kano's sister from AIR. She really like using those knives.

My avatar expresses my love for artist Andy Runton's super awesome Owly character. He has a worm on his head in there, but it got cut off.

General Veers had a small part in The Empire Strikes Back, but he was badass. Driving a 100 foot tall metal elephant of doom will do that to you.

Edit: No, Veers was like the only guy that Vader didn't choke. Probably because he blew up a whole bunch of Rebel scum.

I've always thought the ATAT's looked more like giant robotic camels. And the ATST's looked like demented baby chickens. Didn't Darth Vader kill that guy? He killed most of his underlings....what a lousy boss. I guess it keeps the workforce from getting stangnant.

My avatar has no mystic meaning, he's just a grumpy old cyborg. His name is Keel Lorenz and there are a lot of bad internet rumors about him.

The guy depicted on this avatar is named Louis Cypher, in his Playstation 1 Shin Megami Tensei incarnation.

Sound the name out to figure out who he is.

Mine is a crude blueprint of a robot I designed.
I drew it myself in MS Paint. I had intended to expand on that,
but... meh. I got bored and moved on. I'll get back to it eventually.

My avatars have ALWAYS had a Rockman tone to them as long as I've been on message boards. But then I found this little doozy, it had a glowing blue gem like the Chaos Emerald that Venome had, and so I edited the picture a little and made it a slightly innacurate representation of Venome.

My avatar is half of Schwarzwalds mask from his clown costume in 'Enemy is Another Big.' My avatar seldom change, or if they do, it is merely to make their background color match with the current signature. This is because I tend to think of people online by their avatars, and having someone switch their avatars every five seconds annoys me to no end.

So what's the mystic meaning behind the half mask? Perhaps it is somehow representative of my ethereal name. Perhaps it somehow implies a dark and mysterious aspect of my personality (especially when you take into consideration the 'black is good and white is bad' symbology of Big O). Perhaps I just thought it looked really friggen cool.

The person who is my current avatar is Un from Shinigami no Ballad: momo the girl god of death. Not much is known about her other than the info that I found while searching:
