Sorry, too much Iron Chef lately.
This one is a continuation of "The Broom Roger" saga in the "funny pictures" thread. In theory, this is the first two and 1/3 panels of a comic strip. However, in theory, work is supposed to give me a day off instead of having me work a 60+ hour week to cover someones vacation so I could draw said comic strip.
I did this one the other night before bed.
I'll do more as I get time.

Just a quick update.
I will
never,
Eeeeeever, claim to be a good mech artist, but I was really happy with the way this came out.
Zola wrote a great fan fic called "
Beneath the Surface." Go ahead, read it. I'll wait. ....Back? Great! Anyway when she started writing it, it was more of a character piece with Roger and Dorothy and I had offered to try and do a comic version. A little under a week later, I found out that she wrote an entire episode! At this point I told her "mmmm.. Sweetie, I'm not that good!"

I did however suggest that I draw a few scenes or a cover and I've still been hammering out a layout. This was my first "real" attempt at this. I'm going to try and do a better version of this over the next few weeks and watercolor it. (Roger is a little cartoony here even by my usual standards.) Hopefully I can do Zola justice.

Oh, my God, those are fantastic! I love the coy-devilish Dorothy pic. Reminds me of my human-Dorothy from my third fic.
And the kiss pic is great - poor Roger-Broom! Abandoned so easily when Dorothy finally locks lips with Roger!

I imagine its thought patterns go from "..." to "..."
I think something looks different about Dorothy in the second picture.
Nice. Better than Vera at least.

Thank you!
My girlfriend has been writing and passing on few fan fictions that have a more "human" Dorothy in them. So I've been playing around a bit.
There's a funny short story she did a few days ago that I'd like to draw if I ever get the time and the energy. I'm just having a hard time keeping up with her.
Don't feel too bad for the broom though. I mean, Roger works an awful lot and I'm sure Dorothy's android enough for the both of them.
Hold it there right Name of God! Vera is the vaguely European kawaii WUV bunny of my dreams!!
Falcon 7 resists the urge to draw the 'Vera's Beach Party' picture that sounded extremely funny until the cold medicine finally kicked it.

I love how you draw Dorothy, she is more humanish in the second one and seems to be planing something.
The first picture has romance written all over it, and I must congratulate you because I can't draw people kissing.
*Notices Roger-Broom falling*
No Roger Broom!! (He's so sexhay!!)

Agreed! *grabs Roger-broom, runs off*
A note flies into Falcon 7's hands. It reads: Sorry I couldn't stick around but, I like your artwork!! It's very nice!

You might want to see a psycoligist about those 'dreams' of yours.

But ..but...SHE HAS A BULL WHIP NOW! I'm only human. It's also a little known fact that Vera loves
Kraftwerk and smells like Juicy Fruit.
....I think I'll be getting that help now.
Thank you again, everyone , for the kind words. They really made "the shift of doom" at work a lot more bearable.

) I'm going to try and post some new stuff later in the week.

Hey, I like your Big O pic! And I would love to see a cover of 'Beneath the Surface' - that story blew me away - it deserves a cover.

Another quick one.
Dorthy after a long night of.... cough, negotiating!
This is officially Zola's favorite drawing of mine.

I blame this on two things. Listening to "Two Tribes" once too often on my vacation and Gary H. beating me to the bunny slippers.
I'm so making one of those "#1 Android" mugs though.

*knows lyrics to Frankie Goes to Hollywoods' 'Relax' ... almost loses consciousness from laughing*
"Roger Smith, my back aches and half of me feels like jello - I blame you for this."
That's a great piece of work, Falcon. I love the dynamic pose and her expression.
