I went to New Paltz, NY on the way up to college orientation, the former home of gay marriages in NY State (it was funny while it lasted! ). I bought 3 cds: One good, one awful and one wierd:


A Perfect Circle's The 13th Step:

Best Songs: Pet and The Nurse who Loved Me (which is about Manyard's love for a nurse, which kind of creeped me out)


The Bad:

Beastie Boys' To The 5 Boroughs

Best Songs: None. This album is soooooo bad, that I sold it for 2 dollars to the Oswego school store and was happy to get rid of it.



The Wierd:

The Polyphonic Spree's The Begining Stages of...

The Polyphonic Spree is a cult. They're too happy. Every song on the album is about a beautiful day or sunshine. The music is great. The singning is great. Every instrument you could ever think of being in a band and an orchastra is played on the album. The Polyphonic spree is made up of 23+ people who all dress in white robes. Listen to LIGHT AND DAY or SOLDIER GIRL, and you'll see what I mean by wierd. They're a choral symphonic pop band.



Also, I got the Jay Z BLACK ALBUM (Acapella Version) and am in the middle of creating the ultimate remix (even though I don't like rap that much).

at 3:00am I was listening to my megamix "Big O - Military Police".
