The Return...of 101.1 NY

For all New Yorkers and maybe some New Jersey folks... WCBS FM 101.1 IS BACK!

For those in the "tri-state area", you might remember a few years back the greatest Oldies station for the past 30 years went off the air to be replaced by a "hip, new" station for the younger generation: JACK FM. Well, the bigwigs at CBS have decided WCBS FM 101.1 is and always has been the best choice...

So today at 1:01pm (est) WCBS FM 101.1 has returned to the airwaves with high praise from the Mayor of NY and thousands of its fans!

Hit the road Jack, and welcome back WCBS FM!

From my understanding JACK FM was less a radio station and more an iPod hooked to a set of transmitting equipment.
