So does the series ever make any reference to whether Roger Smith is right or left handed. This may seem stupid but at least it gets you thinking. I personally think hes right handed.

From what I remember, Roger always used his fork with his right hand.

Gah.
Right handed, use left hand for fork when needing to cut something with a knife.
I've been told that's how Englishmen do it.

Oh yeah, you're right! Roger held up that knife to his eye on his right side in that one episode.
So he is right-handed.

He also used the potato-peeling knife right-handed in Daemonseed. I don't recall him ever using his left in preference.

Yep he is almost certainly right handed. Some proof from Act 9:
Then again, he could be ambidextrous

He also uses his pen key device with his right hand in Act 6 and Act 13.

From what I know and Act 20, Roger is certainly right-handed.

He used his left hand while piloting Big O.

...and his feet.
Which doesn't really prove that he is Left hand dominant.

Most people put their watch on the opposite hand they write with and since the watch is on his left, i say he is right handed. He also usually has fork in right.

We should send a petition to your president ; is Roger left- or right handed ? The whole country will get a debate. We are debating for nothing, but .... we talk to each other.

He appears to be right handed when doing ordinary stuff.
On the other hand, I guess piloting Big-O would give him plenty of practice using both hands, especially with the Big-O's unusual controls.

Unlikely. I'd still say he'd be HEAVILY right hand dominant.
