I saw the trailer for this movie when I went to go see Epic Movie last night, and I assumed this was some sort of parody when it started since Lux Aeterna started playing and thats pretty cliche now...

Technically it's not Lux Aeterna... that's a completely different track on the Requiem for a Dream sountrack >_> The song's an "unofficially-unreleased" version of the Summer Overture.

Anyways, the movie seems interesting... haven't seen a good "omg we gotta fix the sun!" movie in a long time

Indeed. It's been a while since we had a movie like this. It looks pretty enough, maybe I'll see it when it comes out.
