PS3 has regional lockout (sorta)

Bleh, that sucks.

Wonder if there's a way around it somehow..... sucks since I have a few imports(FFVII: DC, KH2, etc). Oh Well

I never bothered with buying import games, but since japanese and US PS3 games are the same region, I just might, since Monster Hunter III comes out next year.

I thought all consoles had regional lockouts. Or most, anyway.

Nothing, but in the event it doesn't work anymore I can't just use the PS3 I'd eventually have.
