The "So, How Was Your Day?" Thread

Failed Calc exam, nap, arduous CS lab, food, procrastinating on an essay due tomorrow.

Woke up and went to school
Slept thru 1st
Did a lab 2nd
Lunch, I now love Tony. He gave me Mellow Yellow
Took a test in 3rd
Went to an assembaly in 4th 'bout drunk driving. We laughed our asses off, that prolly makes us bad people.
Snuck out of 4th early wit' sis
Slept on the bus
Got home, droped sis off at her boyfriend's, wnet to the pawn shop and here we are.

Decided not to go to 8 AM Calc, went to 9:05 GWrit for all of 10 minutes before the Prof. let us leave after turning in our essays, packed a bit, took a nap, packed more, grabbed something to eat during GThea, went to GThea, finished packing, Bus for 2 hours, another hour of Metro, dinner with the family, my old high school's performance of Jabberwock, cake, and here I am.

Woke up.
Got a few gifts from my grandmother and Aunt.
Went to eat at Longhorns (Prime Rib = awesome)
And posted this.

Woke up
Went to Great grandma's and made brownies
Sleep for 2 hours and walked back home
Floated 'round on the net for a few hours
Went to Wal*mart and picked up some food

I woke up. Around ten.
Going to see Casino Royal today.
Our family pet count increased by five last night.
We have five little goldfish.
My cats have a new fish channel to watch.

"So, how was my day?"

My answer: bittersweet.

I spent late last night and early morning waiting at Best Buy to open to get a Wii. It was my first time ever waiting in line like that. It was with a couple of my friends and my sister, and it was cold, dark, and damp. I still feel bad that my sister spent the most time outside, all wrapped up in blankets that eventually got wet from snow. I kept going back and forth from my car and random places like the grocery store and Taco Bell. (I am really skinny, and I honestly could not stand the cold very well.)

Even so, we were second in line, so when the store did let us in fifteen minutes before nine (we had camped out for twelve hours), it was not long before my sister and I got our Wii. And it was not long before our Wii, newly named "Trogdor the Wii", was taken away by our mom. A fair cop, I guess, since she was the one actually buying it, but there's something about waiting in the Chicago cold for half a day for a system that I won't see until Christmas that makes me want to cry.

So all I can do is continue to make a fool out of myself in Majora's Mask, and sleep with my temporarily useless copy of Twilight Princess under my pillow so it can fight off my nightmares.

I woke up from a dream.

A particularly good dream involving two Sisters of Battle.

Then I turned on my laptop and took a shower, thinking it was time for war.

It's always time for war.

So I played some Dark Crusade until about 12:50, at which point my mom notified me it was my little brother's birthday (he is 4) and wii were about to go to chucky cheese.

Much lulz ensued. It was alright, and I brought my Dune book with me to preoccupy me.

Then we went to the adjacent GameStop and I saw that lovely little console sitting there, all pristine like...

Then we went home and I posted this.

I had a dream where I was late to the Wii line, and I had to get a girly pink one, but I didn't care because I still had one.

Then I got up at 6, left at 6:30, got to Nintendo World at 7, got in at 10, and got home at 12.

Call of Duty 3 = sweet as hell.
Zelda = absolutely incredible.

But now, BOW DOWN BEFORE YOUR NEW GOD!!

Woke up and went to Sunday dinner
Helped grandma at craft show
Ran down the ice cream man, got a screw ball and a Darth Vader ice pop
Went to the mall and got my new xbox (old one was stole)
Came home played .hack//quaritine
Shelia came over
Played more .hack and talked to Joeh
Played ACWW and ate pecan pie and Rockstar
Bowed to Mike's Wii and posted this

Got up played runescape and Lvled up, went to church dinner and posted this.

NINE'S BACK!! How ya been!?

Went to school.
Graded a test or four.
Tried out my new backpack.
Wore my new blouse.
Bought another manhwa my parents are oblivious to.

Woke up, showered, ate a little.

Went to Multi-variate, got back a test, which I failed.
Went to GWrit, got back an essay, with a C.
Took a nap instead of going to my Computer Science Lecture... haven't been in about a month...
Woke up, went to GThea, forgot to turn in my extra credit thing, probably wont be able to anymore.
Went to Ways of Knowing, was basically called out on not reading, bs'd something.
Got back, watched people play Wii Sports, now sitting here.

Woke up and cleaned my grandma's house
Walked around Wal*mart
Came home, hooked up sis's comp and moved some files on to it
