Here's something they didn't make much of. In Act 04 when Roger goes underground, he has a vision of him being held in the lap of a motherly figure. Unlike his other visions, this only happened once.

What do you think of it? Previous memory? Delusion?

Well it could've been two things;

a.) A memory of a woman who existed forty years ago who was "his" mother.
b.) His adoptive mother.

I'm not quite sure which. Perhaps it is some sort of memory. Considering she seemed to be outdoors in a forest in what seemed like a sunny day. I would have to re-watch it, it's been a while.

It DOES look like she would be Roger's mother.

More or less the woman was his mom. And they probably never went into it again cause they couldn't get Dorothy nearby when Roger fell down a ladder.

That's right, I remember seeing that when I watched the first season again and figuring that was an important clue they hid early on. I definitely think it was a glimpse of a previous memory.

Maybe it's his real mother, rather than his adoptive one.

Its one those plot threads they introduced early on that I'm dissapointed they didn't end up using.
