Yea, about the war. Well it just depends on what the other clans/groups think. Its not about dominating paradigm or anything like that, its all in fun! I'll write something more on that subject later, as i'll be going out in a few...dont really have much time to write alot about it.

All i'll say for now is..
Any clans/groups of paradigm who are interested in lighthearted but massive, no holds barred fight to the death warfare, feel free to ask about it!

Purple Civilzation definatly!!! That would be awsome...actually.... I tihnk Piastol from Legends is frmo that world...atleast...looking at her weapon color I could...say that... either way yeah... that would be cool...

Possibly more past on the Dark Rift... like mabey the dark civilzation wanted to take refuge during a coming of the rains... but became trapped during that time and were eventually taken through by starvation and such... yeah...

Ah, forgot about the dark rift! Lots of possibilites for story development there! Then theres the sword of the dark moon that Ramirez had. Maybe theres a link between the Silvites and the Black Civilization...that is, if there WAS a black civilization in the first place. Hmmm...*scratches head*

Maybe they should drop the fairly straightforward story altogether and make the game completely open ended. This, of course, might drop our beloved main characters out of the story altogether, but it might be interesting. You could start out as a young man who aspires to become a pirate, and when the time comes you choose to be either a Blue Rougue or a Black Pirate...or perhaps create your own group of Pirates! COMPLETE WITH ONLINE PLAY! There would of course, be lots of mysteries to uncover as well, like the stuff we've mentioned. Maybe i'm thinking too much...

Ah, well. I'd probably prefer it if they kept going with the same characters, anyway!

haha... yeah an online game would be cool.... you could start off as a certain civialin... but I bet vaula would be WAY over choosen...

Of course well.... where is that great story? Often in online rpgs stories aren't exactly followed through.....

Turnbased battling with other people might ....get tedious at first anyway because well... heh... people might go AFK or "BRB".... or stfu and leave you to your doom....

But I wonder about what to do now that all the silver civilization is dead(presumibly).... well atleast there would be no more pure blood sivites... Fina is the only one left... to my knowledge... hmm there could be another few hiding out somewhere but..... I wouldn't expect them to come out of hiding after that incident..... unless AGIAN they were agiesnt the rains and when down to earth... but Ramirez might have been able to sence them because the were all of the same and ....

Of course... it could be of the... Dark Civilization... meaning that there is a Light civilization... meaning that the silviates really could be decendents of the light...

and the dark civilzation could have branched off into the purple.... when they rain came they remembered thier alliance and fled to the dark rift! haha... that could be something...




Actually youi know... I just noticed this... doesn't Rixis and that Purple temple's structers look alike? I mean how you get around and such... I mean both ARE abbandon and decaying.... but both look alike... the purple may be a bit more advanced though... its been a long time sence I have played through the purple realm...

Hmmm...maybe there IS some sort of connection between the silvites and the black civilization. It makes you wonder about the "Where there is light, there is darkness" quote. Ramirez is the missing link between the two! Maybe, during the time of the old world, a pact was made between the Silvites and the Black civilization. Look at what we do know about the Black civilization...it doesnt seem that there is a black gigas, so they probably werent in on the whole war thing. Maybe, just maybe, the silvites admired these people because of their peaceful ways, and offered to seal them in the dark rift for protection against the rains of destruction. The black civilization might have accepted this offer, and given the silvites the sword of the dark moon as a token of friendship. And from there, noone knows what happened inside the dark rift...maybe it just wasn't suitable to hold an entire civilization for a long period of time. Perhaps they've found new home in deep sky, or they just died off. I love this theorizing!

The architecture of Rixis and the Purple City IS fairly similar. Could be some sort of connection there, too. Either that, or they hired the same architects! If only we had some sort of idea what the Purples looked like, their attire and such. Whenever I think of them, I get the image of these Wizard looking people in purple robes who believe they are "enlightened ones".

This topic brings back so many fond memories! It makes me want to start a new file in skies...wait, I already did yesterday!

Dark Giga....... hmm...yeah chances are there isn't one.... unless itself created the dark rift and destroied itself(or ran away somewhere) in the process... it could have turned on its master... somehow it gained a free will.... or like the silver civilization it fused with a greedy mortal....

But I do like the idea you had about them being more peaceful than them actually having a giga.... heh... they could have been over taken by the purple cilviation when they using thier enherited magic to get into the darkrift... they killed off the dark.... but than didn't know how to survive in thier new harsh conditions.... or thier Giga went mad and escaped and went on to kill drachma's son...

Hey what do you think of setting up a Skies of arcadia rpg? I mean one where you create your own damn char... not impersonate existing ones.... remember I invited you to taht morrowind one? Well that fourm exploded for no reason and well... I am NEVER using that fourm type agian...

The character creation will be ALOT simplier than morrowind and I think this kind of rpg with less detail in areas could hang on to even a few final fantasy fans...

I tried signing up for your other one, but whenever I started to get anywhere it froze up my computer. If this new one works for me, sure, i'm definately in. I've never actually been in an RPG, but i'd like to try. Oringinal characters...I think it would work better that way. As much as we all know I like Ramirez's character, I don't think I could ever do him justice! I'll have to start thinking up my character...

This thread even has me thinking of writing some Skies of Arcadia fanfics, which is something else i've never done! I think i'll start on one soon...what would happen if Ramirez prevailed over our heroes in the final battle! Muahahahah!

-birthplace( from each of the INHABITED lands... not the shrine.....unless you were given special permission... I mean...I don't want EVERYONE been a silviet.)

Job: (say they were a weapon smith or sometihng...politician... sailor...raider)

Stats...(this is something I might want help with... weather to distribute or have set values.... I can do what I did in morrowind and base it off something else....... or I can have birthplace and Job determine it...)

Well, like you said, basing the characters stats on their moon allignment and region of inhabitance is a good idea. What kind of stats are you including? Power? Agility? Dexterity? Mind/Mental power? Stuff like that? As an example, if your character originates from Ixa' Taka, they are mostly hunters, so it would make sence for the character to have a good advantage in agility, and atleast decent power. Characters of the purple civilization would, of course, probably have very high magical abilities...but ill stop there. I might be sidetracking! I'll let you specify what kinds of stat categories we would be using.

Well, Schwarzwald has been working hard on a Skies RPG, and its coming together very nicely. So....I guess now is a good time to get some new members. First and foremost, only join if you are actually interested in the RolePlaying. Sure, there is a general board for Skies discussions and off-topic matters, but the focal point of the Skies RPG is just that...the Skies RPG. We really have high hopes for this, so...
