Skies of arcadia.... and TLOZ: the wind waker...
now first of has ANYONE played the top rpg on the dreamcast and gamecube????

I mean... compare the two... at the beginging our hero even LOOKS like Vyse with his shirt.... The look out tower with the WAY to long latter?..... hu..... the sailing thing.... EVEN the first town you go too in each IS THE SAME!!!!! Sailors isle in skies.... Windfell(i think) in Wind waker....

Even those two towns have people that say the same things!!!

The two gossiping women actually... could be based on the dudes in orcainia of time... BUT THERE ARE TWO GOSSIPING DUDES ON SAILORS ISLE TOO!!!!! gezz....

also.. tetra(not to be confused with tetris) acts like Aika(or aiko to dumba**es who copy and paste the codes and never even play the game)

Anyone remember the 3 girls in skies of arcadia... with uhh whats her name... the pirete that has that all pink and hboys on hearts ship... well the 3 BOYS on tetras ship have just about the same quaitiy differences(in male standards).....

Back on subject..

Galcian is similar to Ganondorf in that they both want to rule the world...now that I think of it basically every game has someone like that.

Fina has a similar personality to Zelda from OOT, and Drachma is the King of Hyrule!!

And Ramirez.....oops theres no ones as cold and ruthless as him in Zelda!! Mwhahahahaha!!!

Oh I just thought of something strangely similar. Galcian amd Ramirez wanted to raise soltis(and they did), and Ganon wanted to raise hyrule. In the end both Soltis and Hyrule submerged!!

Maybe you're thinking of Raphael? He has similar clothing to Ramirez, but Raphel has blonde hair, isn't anime-ish looking, his blade doesn't hold a candle Ramirezes, and I hate Raphael.

Somebody else here has to have played Skies of Arcadia... c'mon someone!! If you haven't played it, and have a dreamcast or gamecube, then you should really be ashamed of yourselves! If you've played it and dont like it, then you should be cleaved in two.

Oh, and theres another obvious one neither of us mentioned, the transportation. In both games you get to places by ship(although Links is MUCH smaller)..

Geez, why didnt they just give Ganon an evil empire while they were at it.

I dunno wth sega is gonna do now-a-days, they just had a major restructure of the company.

I wish the'd make a new phantasy star and a panzer dragoon saga

Everyone thinks the only worthy rpg is from squaresoft so anything else aint worth it

(not that squaresoft sucks, but i really am getting tired of sega not getting the credit they deserve in the gaming industry,then again, this lack of respect is thier own fault)

Anyway, has anyone ever gotten all the discoveries?

Well that WOULD be perfect, except for the fact that Ramirez is..well...dam me for not knowing how to make a spoiler thingie. Well you know what I mean anyway. Youre right about the black moon, though. The story behind that would make a great sequel. I think I heard a while back that they were actually in the planning stages of a sequel.

Oh, and Skies of Arcadia also has nightmarishly powerful creatures called Loopers! The first time you see these bad boys you'll be scared to death. Oh and theres also these ancient weapons called Gigas, but don't worry about them because they're extremely weak compared to Loopers, especially the giant looper and elcian!! Ahahahahah!!

Never did get all the discoveries. I did get most of them, though.

Oh, and on a side note. Do either of you have a pic of Ramirez combined with DAM ME FOR NOT KNOWING HOW TO MARK SPOILERS? I've been looking for it for quite a while to use as my avatar.

I could find anything else from the game, but not that! Why no fansite would have a pic of that I have no clue. I thought that was the most kickass bossfight ever.

I dont know if I would really want him to come back in a sequel. While he's IMO the coolest character, I think it would ruin the dramatic ending. I also don't think they would be able to come up with a beleivable reason for him coming back. I wouldn't mind some sort of reference to him in a sequel, though.

They could also give some explanation as to what happened to the Purple Civilization. All the other moons had their own towns and stories. Purple was just an abandoned city with no clue as to what happened to it. That part of the game just felt rushed to me.

OH yeah... the purple... yeah.... they would make a better story than rameriz... id love to see what thier story is....

What music are you talking about. You mean the piano one you usually hear when theres a scene involving him? That one kicked ass, too. And theres the other one when you find Galcian and Ramirez at the bottom of Dangral Island about to raise Soltis. That tune only played once in the entire game, but it ruled.
