We're Finally Back!

Sorry for the downtime lately (particularly on the forums), but we had some major problems with our previous host. First, we were unexpectedly suspended for resource usage, even though we had a very powerful hosting plan that should have prevented that from happening. Second, we tried upgrading our hosting plan, but our host was very slow to respond. Third, once we finally got the new server going, it wasn't even fully functional and was very sluggish, and our host was once again very slow to respond to help us get it going. I wasn't even given access to the databases until yesterday.

However, we're now on a new host with an even better hosting plan that should prevent things like this from happening in the future. I'll also make some changes to optimize the site and to enable us to get back up quicker if something like this ever happens again. BTW, thanks to Evan and the rest of the Neo-Speakeasy staff for providing everyone with a place to post while the forums were down.

Everything should be up and running now, but if you notice any errors, please let me know. Thank you for your patience, and welcome back!

Yay for Paradigm City. No, really. I don't know what I'd do without this place (aside from finding far less interesting forums to hang around). Glad to have it back.

Glad to be back! Still don't know what those symbols were, but I'm glad they were nothing too serious that delayed the forums being put up .

That's great! I just registered recently, but I found the site several months ago. Big O is one of my five favorite anime series, and I've seen alot. (You all know what I'm talking about? Those few "elite" anime's that you have watched 1,000+ times but they're still amazing, and you react to other people insulting them as though you'd been slapped in the face and probed with various objects unmentionable?) Um . . . yeah. At least I do. I remember back when that guy insulted the Matrix movies in front of me. Yikes. We were on school grounds, but my verbal thrashing was so severe, it surely left mental and physical scars. Oh! Right! The Big O! Looove it. I'm a big sci-fi/robo junkie since, well, almost birth. I grew up on Star Trek. Speaking of St- Okayokayokay! No Star Trek now. Zip. Is it just me, or does this sound like more of a Bio than a Comment on the site being back in running order? Ah, well. I rant. Kinda like Schwarzwald, honestly. I like him. I like the whole cast, mind you, but he's fun to listen to. Silly mummy/ghost man and his memory quest. Anywho, glad to hear Paradigm's back! (With that Big O Final Stage blowing the dome off and whatnot.) See you folks around!
