There are a few things you should know about the forums:

Spelling may be picked at.
Political threads and discussion threads in general bite once in a while.
There will always be a thread for anything and everythig, and if there is not, you can start one!
You can chat with other members (like me) through PM-ing.
And everything else is easily figured out on one's own with the search engine.
