WTF? How have I never heard of that?
And yeah, DB is just not a good movie concept. (don't get me started on how extreme the continuity errors are in the animated ones that are out)

Agreed. Also, I keep hearing rumors that Hugh Jackman and Bill Goldberg (yes, the pro wrestler) might be tied into a live adapation.
