What I learned from the movies

The US military's most effective strategy to defeating any enemy wether it mey alien invasions, zombies, vampires, commies, or nazis is to send in small strike-forces of stereotypical soldiers.

The severely shell-shocked soldier who never wants to be in any sort of conflict ever again can, with minimal effort, be convinced to invade and eradicate a small country.

Not only will the computer not open the bay doors, but it also will kill you.

Both Earth-based monsters and lifeforms from outer space alike will always take the form of hideous, slavering, mindless beasts that still manage to be smarter than your average human, except when it comes to dealing with simple traps that involve explosives.

unless it's a horor, The Hero survivies against all odds 85% of the time, in Anime it's 95%(you just have to figure out who the main character is)
