Return of the 3-D

I read this in the June '06 Popular Science magazine. I thought it'd be up on their site, but it wasn't. Instead of typing up the whole thing again, I just scanned it in!








I hope you all find this as interesting as I did, it sounds like quite an amazing thing we'll be seeing soon.

I remember Cameron mentioning that Battle Angel Alita was going to be all 3-D.

But damn.

I started reading it, but I'm terribly lazy, so I stopped after being distracted by shiny things.

The first two pages, and the rest of the pictures, however, made it look quite interesting. I'd love it if they got non-glasses 3-D to work, but I'll take what I can get.
