I'll bring Pirates, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Baseketball, Team America, ATHF season 4, and Family Guy season 3.

Sorry, I'm already packed, and I've got nothing themed.

Although, I've got a knee-length skirt O.o. Maybe a bit shorter than that... but, that's not a miniskirt, that's COMFY.

Well, the good news from me is that group meeting here got cancelled, so I'll be able to make my way about an hour earlier than previously expected. Still have to pack and wash dishes and nab things from home and go to the bank beforehand, but I'll be on my way to West Virginia within the next few hours.

I wish everyone safe travels to their respective destinations, and hopefully I'll see you all on the webcams.

For those wanting to watch the webcam for the PCF west, there's been a change of names. ACT wants to use my laptop and cam for outside. (It's a descent cam)

I've set it up so you can view the webcam without waiting for permission, and you'll be added to the BL.

Also, I'll set up a mic if East wants to try the calling service.

I'll get it running as soon as I finish dressing and blowdrying. You can use this name to IM the whole cookout, as the laptop will be outisde, and ACT's computer inside.

The webcam from the last two years is being held hostage in ACT's office and really, he's being lazy. Cant blame him, we did alot of cleaning today. Though I dont think he'd mind pointing it into the living room where our Halo/DDR is happening.

I kid you not, the roads getting up here were insane. Mapquest only gives you directions, no elevations or road conditions. One minute it looks like I'm driving through the forest of the damned with Bambi about to faceplant into my windshield, the next minute, I'm shouting at the moon to turn off its high beams as I'm ascending a mountain.

And cell phone service? No. I was counting mile marks to see where the nearest inhabited region was in case I had to turn back or worse, walk back. This is assuming I'd be able to do either, assuming it's not me, the car, and a guardrail having tea and cookies on the valley floor below.

But I'm not bitter, I love the mountains. And judging from the hulking huge shadows and fog filled, ephemeral valleys, the ride back home on Sunday during daylight is going to be something to remember.

Curses I need escape and go to West Virginia! The family reunion is getting scary, and all attempts to get someone to help me keep my sanity have be thwarted. I wonder how long it would take to ride a bike to NYC...

West coast cam is up, but the only movement is gonna be of the cam itself. I found the perfect spot overlooking the yard, but the sun hates me, so if your watching when the cam is being moved, lemme know when its perfect.

so any pictures? I know I missed the webcam sessions... but I was in Pittsburgh doing stuff Come'on I couldn't have been the designated "bringer of camera" to the East Cookout, could I? (And don't think the Westcoast gets away scott-free...I wanna see some pics from you too)

You should have tried to show up--I'm only two hours from Pittsburgh.

Yes, a photo of the entire group on the WC (WEST SIDE!) was taken, but at least one member of the group's face you will never see. That would be mine. I have no problem having my body on camera to prove I was there, but I really am paranoid about showing my face online.
