That Film You Slept Through Lately, What Was It?

Nothing, really, on TV - not even PBS anymore...

Though I have been renting a few movies from the library where I work, like King Kong, the Pink Panther series, and some old Marx Brothers comedies Smile .

The Cabinet of Dr. Calagari, a silent film from 1919. Damn good and full of that German expressionism.
Peace.

Been meaning to see that for a while. A long ass while.

DO IT. It's got Conrad Veidt from Casablanca and it has a kickass jazz score that gives Cowboy Bebop a run for its money and then some.

Um. The version I saw in my film class did not have a jazz score. I think I would have enjoyed it much more if it had.

Really? Well, my professor did say that the version we saw was editied to have an original score. I forgot to include that as the original version didn't have a score to begin with. But yeah, it was still damn good. Cool to see that you watched it too, Luffy.

I just finished watching The Godfather, Part II and I go on the record to say that Sonny is my favorite Corleone. Too bad he wasn't in this part for more than the last ten minutes though.
Peace.

The Prestige. Sort of. I mean, I walked out on it, because it was boring as hell and the acting was shite.

Oh goodness, how funny...I was gonna put that in my sig at good ol TDottle but had forgotten about it. XD

Recent viewings of:

The House that Dripped Blood (but only the Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee sections)

Airplane (just a bit of it, I've seen it so many times)

Dune (only about half of it)

The Omen (original one of course)

Abit of some terrible Friday the 13th movie, I hate Jason

The latter half of The Innocents, and man that little kid was a better actor than most actors nowadays

..and there's probably one I'm forgetting, oh well.

Yeah, I pretty much just watch them for the cheese factor. And on that note, I'm watching Nightmare on Elm Street. So bad it's good.

Shelley Duvall's Faerie Tale Theatre

Cheesy effects, but anything that managed to have James Earl Jones painted in blue and green is gotta be good.
