Pauly shore and transformers?

I have...I have some troubling news for you...the year is 2007. Apparently the all clear in your shelter didn't sound following 1989 like we'd planned.

The world is very different now.
Pie_Junkie 07-04-2007 08:01 PM
I'm very aware of how lame my day was.

John Carpenter's Vampires

They can stop making movies about vampires now.

The original nosferatus been done...the bela lugosi draculas been done...and a movie where james woods just sort of goes around cursing out vampires before stabbing them, attatching them to the back of a truck and dragging them into sunlight, has also been done.

The premise now has nowhere left to go. Nowhere of any value.

The Last Picture Show (1971)
Quiz Show (1994)

Quiz Show was good by Robert Redford (I still like Ordinary People better though) and the Picture Show was very nicely photographed in black and white photography.

We need more b/w pictures by the way.
Peace.

Pride (2007) Terrance Howard, Kimberly Elize, Bernie Mac

And like, a third of Easy Rider.
Peace.

..that Black Snake Moan sounds like the worst movie ever made.

Also Silence of the Lambs, yet again. It's so soothing to hear Hannibal's voice!

It was actually good, I was surprised by it at least. The relationship between Jackson and Ricci is interesting and they had good chemistry as well, especially so with the implications of being in the South and all. But the film kind of went in a different direction in the end, especially with Timberlake's character and I was feeling the previous direction myself.

Also, American filmmakers make the worse sex scenes. No realism, so boring and nothing there at all. Behind the other sets of filmmakers really.

The Godfather (1972) Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan
Peace.

I saw Harry Potter 5 last Saturday! WEET WHOO FOR ME!!

spoiler (highlight to read):
Oddly enough, I started to cry when Sirius gets shoved into the Veil by his twisted mental case cousin. And it wasn't so much because it was happening, but because I knew it was going to happen before it came on screen.

And the spell Belletrix used was the wrong one! Wink

Jackson

Dosen't seem too outlandish that he'd be good in that..I think the problem is he's just thought of as "LOL SAMUEL FUKKIN L JACKSON" and cast in those roles, and also he once admitted in an interview that he...basically just does all that for his own amusement which I suppose is a valid reason (getting paid a ton to just have some laughs? why not, good for him)

But yeah it dosen't surprise me that he can do well actingwise.
