That Film You Slept Through Lately, What Was It?

Yes, bodily secretions on neckties are a nuisance.

Also, I'm watching Silent Hill again. Then, the oldschool animated Transformers movie with Leonard Nimoy as Galvatron.
War.

I'd buy this on dvd except I heard a rumor of a special edition being made, and if they include the apparently huge amount of cut footage on that I'd want that one yeah.

Also god how I hope they make a sequel, and not repeat the mistakes they made in the first one (and I really, really liked the first one. It had room for improvement though on some levels though)

Goodness, it was awesome. Pyramid Head was well done, to say the least, though they needed more of him.
War.

I MUST SEE THIS MOVIE BLARG BLARG SNORGLE.

.....

Yeah, I'm alright.

Lol, Anthony Hopkins. :o

From what I remember anyway.

The Aviator (2004) starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett, Kate Beckinsale
Patton (1970) starring George C. Scott, Karl Malden, Michael Bates
Turistas (2006) starring Josh Duhamel, Melissa George, Olivia Wilde

Oh and some Casablanca and All the King's Men... the original, good version.

That last one sucked hard, yeah. Its a pretty bad sign when you venture into the same terrority as Hostel, and you get your ass kicked by that.
Peace.

I misread this as "all the president's men" and thought "...Tell me they did NOT remake this so woodward and bernstein are psychopath serial killers"

Then I thought more about this notion and...it started sounding EXTREMELY funny.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Oh, that's horrible. Actually I think that could actually work only if Dustin Hoffman and Robert Redford are brought back to reprise their roles.

Oh Holleh. :o

Actually, I wanted to see this too. Then I read some reviews about how its only interesting when Hopkins is one, no offense to Ryan Gosling or anything. But yeah.

Also, I'm watching At World's End tomorrow. So tonight, I should watch something good beforehand.
Peace.

Paprika. In a Manhattan theater. With a cafe. And the actual theaters in the basement.

MY. GOD. The director from Tokyo Godfathers and who I'm pretty sure is the soundtrack guy from Paranoia Agent. The movie is wonderfully trippy. There's a lot of cool action and wacked out scenes involving whatcha-ma-call-it. . . The moving shikigami things you make from everyday objects like teapots and stuff. IT WAS SO COOL. The CG effects were awesome!

You should all see it.

My 20th Best film of all-time. Damn good.

Apocalypto (2006)
North By Northwest (1959)
Pan's Labyrinth (2006)
Seven Samurai (1954)
Spirited Away (2002)

Apocalypto was impressively violent and had stunning cinematography. There was this one scene where one of Jaguar Paw's guys was deheaded and the camera switched to the head's point of view as it was bouncing around on the floor. Brilliant, I have to steal that.

And Pan's Labyrinth was f***ing amazing. A fantasy story with a war between Spain's Fascist government and rebels as a backdrop? Nice. Ivana Baquero is a cute kid too. I was switching between this and Spirited Away, which they are both the same thing except one is set in Japan and one in Spain. But yeah, I'm coming up with ideas now.
Peace.
