I liked Snakes on a Plane despite how impossible part of it is and that I could name at least 3 non-poisonus snakes I saw durin' the movie.
I'm watching Rest Stop, alas it's like all the others.

I saw Epic Movie last night.

There was much lulz.

That movie looks and sounds like bullsh**. What I can't stand even more is that on the commercial, they're running it as a parody of the greatest epic movies of all-time. When the hell did Superman Returns become a epic?

Can we like...become some sort of vigilante duo that hunts down everyone involved in the production of this movie, because that last part was pretty much my immidiate thought when I first saw the trailer.

Seriously....superman returns? charlie and the chocolate factory? Even die hard fans of these movies have never used the phrase "epic" in describing them as far as I know.

Yes, we should team up and this should be done. And not only the everyone involved in the production of this movie, but that of all the other movies that it parodied in the first place (wash your necks because I'm talking about you Pirates of the Caribbean, X-Men 3, Narnia, The Da Vinci Code, Superman, Paris Hilton, etc...)

Eh, I never understood why people put up money to make parodies of other movies anyway. I put them in the same league as weak remakes.

I wouldn't be caught dead in a movie like this. I'd rather be in church.

And I'd try to explain this to someone who actually wanted to see it...but lets be honest...if you're terribly excited for a movie written by the people who brought you "date movie', not only do you probably have no idea who m.c. escher is, you're probably wondering how I got words to appear on your computer screen.

See, the thing is you had to explain to someone about the emphasis of why they wanted to see this movie in the first place. In before Sharpie's comment about them being what's wrong with society and all that.
Peace.

Movies I've seen today:

  • Rocky Horror Picture Show (Midnight to 2:30)
  • Night at the Museum
  • Happily Never After

RHPS was an interesting experience, if not a bit spiritually disturbing. I'm never going to be able to hear the Time Warp song without yelling out the added lines.

Night at the Museum was kinda cool.

Happily Never After was lame.

No silly, I love Silence. I've watched it like...20 times. >.>

But yep, my most recent was Hannibal with director commentary on. Woot. I adore Ridley Scott. He's so awesome.

Today: The Life of David Gale

HIGHLY recommend. I found this on the side of the road at the bus stop one day and didn't sit down and watch it until now. Great ending that you won't see coming.

True, but its still damn good filmmaking all around. Alfonso Cuaron is now one of my new favorite directors (he also did Children of Men).

No rly, no. By itself in its own medium its alright, but this movie sucked in my opinion. Everything about it just raped the original material from the graphic novel. Alan Moore must have been rolling in his grave.

Isn't that the one with Kevin Spacey and Kate Winslet? Yeah, that was a decent film even though it got panned by the critics for some reason. But yeah, not bad.

Forgot a couple from last time;

Money Talks (1997) starring Chris Tucker, Charlie Sheen, Heather Locklear
My Son the Fanatic (1997) starring Om Puri, Rachel Griffiths, Akbar Kurtha

...I've been watching A LOT of independent films lately.
Peace.
