Yeah, I was really confused the first time I saw that. Then I kinda laughed at that when I saw it again.
Preferable characters (not in any exact order): Zelda/Sheik, Link, Young Link, Pikachu. The others I use every once in a while.

Ok, my current top 3 favorites are Marth, Falco, and Jigglypuff. Yes, Jigglypuff.
I'll use Link or Captain Falcon sometimes too. Donkey Kong for messing around.

...but yes. Meta Knight is sweet. So is Pit. And most definitely so is Wario. All three were obvious choices for inclusion from the very moment that SSBM was released without them, but I digress.
I really hope they have the sense to make that genius of speaking which has weirdness, Fawful, a playable character. |

Snake looked pretty dead-on. Pikachu and Kirby were just disturbing. I think Yoshi was in there somewhere too.

It doesn't use the remote. I think that you can either use the Game Cube controller, or they are going to have a controller shell for the Wii

That is true, they have said SSBB will be one of the games that would make use only of the controller being wireless, other than that, you need the shell to play it, or a GCN controller, which i'm sure many Wii owners will already have.
one of my face smash bros. characters (Samus) is making a comeback and is incredibly sweet... all we need now is Mewtwo from the old team and i'll be happy.
however, my choice of new characters would have to include Shadow, Cloud, or Ridley.

Ridley would be awesome, but Cloud is just not going to happen. The guy running the show stated that for a character to appear in the game, that character would have to be in at least one game on a Nintendo system.
