Yeah, I guess I've got a bit of a reputation around these parts. lol. Sorry. It's not intentional; I didn't mean to turn this thread into a quagmire. It flowed fairly naturally, but given Adult Swim's sarcasm it did have a shaky start, I guess. In a nutshell, it got into this semi-off-beat realm of anime discussion because I felt IF Adult Swim was going to do a Saved by the Bell new season, it would be an insult to The BIG-O fans (season 3 being ignored when its possible) and further mess with Adult Swim's blend of comedy and action--but no need to drag up all the details. Basicially, someone started a point of debate with that by mocking a statement of mine and then dismissing my attempt to fairly explain that statement with a character attack.
In all reality, at this point the topic and resulting debate has run its course and should be gotten rid of, but I think only the Admin has the power to do that.
As for my accidental tendencies to cause controversy at times: I only started the Adult Swim complaints after they dangled BIG-O 3 and pulled it away without a definative explanation for the longest time. Up until that point, and even after, I contributed many bits of information (several early religious/philosophy conversations relating to BIG-O's themes, for instance) and news for the BIG-O community (like ASK-AS). At this point, I mostly feel BIG-O has hit a dead end until it gets Season 3, but I've concluded Adult Swim won't do the job. Yet, when they pull something as crazy as possibly resurrecting an 80s school sitcom (which is probably a bluff), it pulls up those old statements of "there's not enough money for BIG-O 3".
As Mike has said, thus concluding this thread's initial purpose, there probably is the money, but Adult Swim wants to spend it elsewhere. Hopefully it's not for new Saved by the Bell, though. lol. It's sad to see a story like BIg-O's side-lined, but them's the breaks. I guess we'll have to wait for SUNRISE to resurrect BIG-O when and if they get the fancy to. It could happen...
