Samurai Champloo Action Figures

Yesterday I learned that a toy company named Jazwares will be releasing a line of Samurai Champloo action figures.

Naturally, the first line features Mugen, Fuu, and Jin. The line is supposed to debut this summer.

Those are cool! They put a lot of detail into them and I like the hats, too. The Jin and Fuu are especially good, but a couple of the Mugen "faces" don't look that much like him to me.

Hmmmm . . . this will make my decision more difficult. I had been plannign on purchasing the miniature pre-posed figures:

Sometimes the paint job on them are bad....I got lucky and got mine when they first came out so they're not that bad other then Mugen's arm and Fuu's hand being somewhat blackend (The Jin figure came out good though O_o).

I've known about the new figures for a while now. I like how Fuu and Jin came out alot. Mugen's a little iffy, however the volume 7/12 head and the volume 5/9 head look the best out of all of them....

They look cool... but I don't remember them wearing most of those hats...

I don't believe they did, only in promotional artwork.

I just wish that the Jin and Mugen figures had more articulation. They look like they belong in a "vs. pack."

oh! i have those! they're sitting on my desk. i can't help but wonder why the heck mugen's holding a tomato though.. O_o
