Fiona Apple

Anyone ever heard of Fiona Apple?

I have a CD of hers called "Extraordinary Machine".

She's got some pretty cool songs.

I like alot of them.

First album is good, as is her cover of "Across the Universe".

Everything after that sucked.

I own "Tidal." I still listen to it from time to time as I enjoy Fiona's mellow voice. She's not somebody I can listen to on a daily basis though. The only songs of hers that I really ever had a strong liking for were "Criminal" and "Shadowboxer."

I haven't really been interested in her later works though.

i think all 3 of her albums are great.

"when the pawn..." is my particular favorite.

She's one of my favorites because I like her voice. It's kind of jazzy. I "borrowed" Tidal off of my mom but find I like Extraordinary Machine a lot more.

The song Extraordinary Machine is such a fun song. What made me buy the album was the song "Not about love." That music video is so interesting.

i own her " when the pawn hits the conflict he thinks like a king..." album it was released in 1999, shows a hurt angry side of fiona.... that album kicks ass

you should try to find the original bootleg version of that song online. it's 300 times better than the album version. i swear.

I've still not heard Extraordinary Machine. But When the Pawn... is incredibly underrated, IMO. I listened to it again recently and I was a little blown away, really.

"When the Pawn" is the only one I haven't heard. I skipped it for some reason.
