Hmm... some interesting ideas there. I could definitely run with that, I'll let you know as soon as I have anything done, but I'll probably be asking a lot of questions in the meantime.
Just as a reference, though; Dagon was a half-man, half-fish god worshipped by the Philistines and mentioned in a few places in the old testament. Sort of fits with all of the Leviathan/Behemoth references. And it's kind of cool to think of Fau as Dagon's "master" or "leader." A little weird, though, since Dagon was called a god and Leviathan is a big sea monster.
I'd definitely never thought of Dagon as a black box before. But he really doesn't seem to have much purpose, aside from memories, and isn't really outfitted for offensive battle so much as for defense (it's not like anything ever stands much chance against Big O) since a small complement of low-yield missiles (or were they torpedos?) probably wouldn't go very far on land. I like the idea of him as a memory fail-safe.
