I'd caught one that from the beginning. It's not really unexpected. But I thought for awhile that I was the only person who noticed. Nice job R.Smith.

I really want to take my DVD and pause it a bit to see if you can actually read what it is saying. I just want to see whether it is from the real manga or if it is just randam garble garble. Would be kinda cool if there was something interesting in those 3 or 4 pages. If anyone knows about this go ahead and tell me but ill be checking it for myself in a bit.

Top left box: "Since ancient days, it has been here and has been cursing everything I intuited. And I couldn't help praying, even though I hadn't believed anything but science."

Bottom right box: "That was the beginning of the adventures. To be continued."

I'm assuming the figure in the middle is Norman saying "Goodness." Is this megadeus Big O? Is this when Norman found Big O? And who is the narrator here? I don't think it's Roger. Gordon, maybe?

On the other screenshots of the comics, I can't really make out what's being said, besides Roger saying "Is this the real MEGADEUS!?" That one really important part is cut off: "Strangely, I felt dea...than fear to that iron...appeared".

Anybody got ideas? I'm guessing the "dea..." is "death".

Check out the figure's trench coat. It is (I assume) Michael Saabach. After all, Schwarzwald didn't become who he is until after he 'unlocked' the Megadeus, so that explains his round head.

As for the narrator, I believe it is also Saabach, if only because of the context.

Also, since this thread seems to be for general miscellany, take a look at this screenshot from episode 14: http://www.paradigm-city.com/images/ep14/Schwarzwald1.jpg

Any doubt now that Schwarzwald is a tomato? Big Grin

There's actually a comic page about Dorothy too, but it was so small.. it can be found on Big O official site.

You're probably right. I was thinking it was Norman because "Goodness" seems like a rather Normanesque thing to say.

That makes perfect sense too.
Zopwx2 10-17-2003 07:08 PM
Dearness? That doesn't sound right.....

But I'm pretty sure that is Schwarzvwald talking to archetype in that other comic.
Tickle Tickle 04-25-2004 11:21 AM
I was rewatching 'Twisted Memories' today, and I noticed when Dan was looking through the agents of the Union...

Agent 152 looks like that guy who worked in that oil place in 'Eyewitness'. Infact, I'm pretty sure it is him. Anyone catch this?
Seraphim 04-25-2004 12:55 PM
Now that I think about it, I think it was him. Nice job spotting this, I never would have picked it up myself.
R.Smith 04-25-2004 01:26 PM
I noticed this a long time ago, and i had made a post in my "something....interesting..." thread (which is long forgoten), i'll see if i can find it.

Found it! It's on the second page.
Madrona 05-06-2004 12:05 PM
Okay here's something i noticed.
The licence plate for Angel's car is PPAW.
Later on, Alan teases her by calling her a "kitty".
She is a bit catty.
Maybe she's actually moonlighting at the Go Go Pussycats Nightclub! Wink
Here is a close-up of the back of her car.
YoruameBaroness 05-06-2004 06:16 PM
That's a good one. I thought her license plate was something like Roger's or something.

Can my license plate say "Baron"?
