I'd do that if I could. X3 It's actually a good way to relieve stress. A moving shooting target that never dies. Happy

My cat Felicity is totally insane. She will bite you for no reason.

The kitten dosen't really purr, or I haven't heard it. I've heard from someone who owns a cat that this somehow suggests it wasn't given milk by the mother, and would be dead had it not been taken in.

I on the other hand, assumed I had somehow displeased it. Or that it was being used as some sort of covert transmitter and/or reciever ala the cat in flcl. Either way it enjoys biting at my hand sometimes, and once climbed inside one of those 12 can boxes of soda.

In response to Sharpshooter 005:

It's a kitten. They have good days and bad days just like any baby. Try playing with the kitten and try petting him...her... Is it a boy or a girl? Confused Anyway, pet the kitten along the back, stomach and under the cheeks. The cheecks and back have scent glands and cats like belly-rubs. Give the little thing some time, it'll puurrrrrr.

I sound like such a mom... Embarrassed Sweatdrop It's my inner cat lady.

End response.

Going to Canada. Twice. Niagra Falls and Montreal. French Six Flags. In August. WILL YOU BE MISSING ME? Shocked

Kittens are adorable, but I might have to disagree with your friend. We found a kitten that was a few weeks shy of being able to be away from her mother and she's the loudest purring cat I've heard and she sometimes purrs the moment you touch her. Try petting the kitten when s/he has just been fed. He/she could just be a quiet purring cat...our one cat is that way also.

When did this turn into a discussion/first thought thread?

This is interesting. Not two hours after I posted that, it began doing this thing...first it started...I don't know, vibrating. Then it began making an audible noise which sounded like a coffee machine when it's running. In fact overall it was like petting a coffee machine.

So...I have no damn clue if thats what purring is. I've had fish before, the fact this thing has legs places it out of my sphere of innate familiarity.
Shadow dorothy 07-24-2006 12:09 PM
Yes that purring.
Give it some meat and hold it close, it should purr real loud, and call it cute, it'll be happy.

I met a very old friend of mine last Saturday.

I was in the FYE store in the mall, looking for The Mars Volta (I have to admit, I'm now very interested in listening to their music) and I ran into my friend Eric (who looks like Sherman from American Pie, and even had that as a nickname for a while in high school although he didn't like being called that). We talked, had a good time, and met his girlfriend that he's living with in Rochester, right near my school and all this time, I didn't know.

He's been one of my best friends since the fourth grade and I'm going over to his place soon enough to hang out with him, his girl, and other friends from the good ol' days.

They said that they would make beef stew. Nice.
Peace.

You know who was really, really extremely badass?

Winston Churchill.

Ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which I will not put.
Chitter-Box-Kat 07-24-2006 08:19 PM
Say wha? ^u^
Big Money 07-24-2006 08:27 PM
Churchill said it. Its a joke.

AAAHHH. I hate my little sister.
Chitter-Box-Kat 07-24-2006 09:19 PM
I wish I had a little sister. Maybe she wouldn't have annoyed me like my little brother does now. >X3
