Yeah, he does look like him which was kind of bothering me when I was reading that.
I like to think that she likes him for who he really is and what they have been through together for the entire series and not just because of something idiotic and shallow like that. But I hope I'm not giving Rukia too much credit and if its just for that, then its REALLY going to take the wind out of this series' sales for me.

I'm far in the manga but I don't think I've reach them yet, or I probably have and just don't recognize the names (Bleach has too many detailed names and I just read the story). Also what about Renji? I would have to think that he would be in there somewhere. |

There's a bunch of characters who favor the other characters. I mean I can make a list of supporting characters who favor the main characters. Or at least those who look alike without being direct family. Maybe I'm missing something somewhere but I just think that it may be Kubo's style to reuse some of the character designs. a lot of people do that. I mean look at CLAMP or Minekura...

As for who Rukia actually likes, that is something to be decided. But it is known that both Ichigo and Renji like her. I mean there have been to many moments in the manga that have yet to be in the anime not to come to that conclusion.

That's a very interesting concept, G_B. More so than say something like InuYasha for example.
Also, good pics there Scourge. I recognize the first one as Kaien, the third and fourth ones are a bit of a stretch and the second one is damn good. But I think G_B had a good point in the same characters looking alike due to the artist's very own style.

Well, you were right Nine. The episode was pretty heavy focus for Rukia. It was a little saddening to see that she knew her time was up. The stuff with Kon wasn’t very interesting but it was funny when Uuryu stitched him up. Man, that guy takes his work seriously… Well, just when things are getting good it looks like they are done showing new episodes for a while. When they advertise Inuyasha movies it is always bad news. It usually means they won’t show their regular schedule for a while, and they will only have reruns when it comes back. I guess no anime next week since I can’t even stand looking at Inuyasha anymore.

Rukia's a favorite of mine 'cause she's so melancholy. But she still manages to smile, punch Kon, and don those freaky faces like she did when Kon got a "makeover". And she's Ichigo's friend no matter what she thinks. And that's cooly.

Yeah, even though I didn't think it would happen so fast in this point in time. I mean, its only what, the 15th episode? Also, I wasn't feeling Renji's voice and it left me thinking "That was it?" Yes. Mr. Yoruichi ftw. And if you're talking about who I think you are talking about CBK, Rukia's captain who they showed with Renji, then that's a long, long time away from where we are now. I just want to see Kenny.

Yeah, that's a good point Raven and I didn't even think of that with them taking a break with Bleach to dub more episodes. And agreed with the InuYasha bit as well.

Yeah Renji sounded a bit.... cheesy? Like someone they tried to hard to make sound badass. Speaking of the scene with the girls, I wonder what she was thinking about saying when she paused after they questioned her relationship. Also, is that red head supposed to be a lesbian or what? I might be getting the wrong signals since Japan tends to have strange ways of doing things.

Well I can't say I'm thrilled with Renji's VA, he sounds a little old for the character but I still have to hear him spazz out before I totally write him off.
Yoruichi's VA wasn't to hot either, but he's not to relevant so who care.

She's attracted to Orihime but I don't think its anything serious like what you are indicating. She just seems attracted as a friendship thing, not technically lovers in that as aspect.

Oh? She could have fooled me with the way she always calls Orihime hot and such. I got a little suspicious after she started ripping off her shirt and jumping toward Orihime until she got punched by Tatsuke. I couldn’t quite pass judgment since it was one of those ‘crazy’ anime moments where you can’t really follow along with what’s happening on screen.

Chizuru is differently a lesbian but Orihime is both straight and oblivious to Chizuru's tactics. Also at other points in the story you'll see Chizuru critic girls on there physical attributes.
