Enough with this "Crazy Cool Women" crap, her name is Kuukaku or Kukaku, depending on your preference. Personally I think her prosthetic arm is kind of lame, the stump has more character. Also given her line of work, she more than likely had it blown off. To bad you don't really see her after the SS arc.
spoiler (highlight to read):
You see her during this time and when Rukia goes to apologize as far as the manga goes and I think she shows up one more time in the, anime only, Bount arc.
Though I'll tell you this learn to love Ganju because you'll be seeing a lot more of him.
Overall the episode was funny but not a hell of a lot happened.

What? They gave her a prosthetic arm in the anime as a replacement? Bad form and yeah, the stump added to her character.
Peace.

Prosthetics. Yeah. LAME MOVE.
Oh, and I looked ahead.

Yoruichi reveals the big secret in episode 41.
But I could only find it in Japanese.

I know lots of future Bleach stuff..I go to a website and watch the episodes in Japanese (yeah subtitles!!). I'm trying desperately to learn to read Japanese. I can read some Hiragana and Katakana.
Yourichi has lots of "intresting" secrets. Then again, doesn't just about everyone in Bleach? Bleach is one of my favourite anime/mangas. It is one of the few things that I don't subconciously figure everything out before it happens. There are so many intresting twists and turns, and I'm enjoying every minute of it

I'll agree about the secrets bit. Some of the characters you least expect have the most amazing secrets. Granted, I only know a few because I'm not big on spoling things for myself, but I know enough to never underestimate a character.

I like how they had all the captains there at the end.
That fake arm they planted Kuukaku with was even more weak now that I saw it. I forget what happens next in with the preview and all but around this time, I think the group enters the Soul Society and get separated and start the fighting.
EDIT:

Pretty much. They go off like a cannonbal and then they get seperated. I can tell you who get's stuck with who.

This episode kind of felt like last week's in a way. Ganju's speech about his brother was over the top and the comedic scenes did fit in right, but meh.
I liked the ending with Kenny though, looking for the strongest warrior in the bunch (ala Ichigo).
Peace.

I missed the episode because I was dead tired and I had an eye appointment today. So what the hell happened that matters?

Same here, I was out camping and missed the whole Saturday line-up in fact. So can someone do a really good summary, of this past episode?

Not sure about the new opening theme, the first was much better, but the new ending theme is alright. Also for Scourge, they show that one woman you were talking about that looks so much like Rukia in the ending theme.
Also, I noticed the show (I guess starting from this one) has gotten better greatly, technically wise. It still suffers from the same problem that FMA had, editing with trying to have comedic moments included from nowhere, but yeah the show looks great at the moment.
The chase with Ganj was a little show for my taste, as opposed to the manga but the fight Ichigo's in isn't too bad at the moment. And yeah, Kenny's voice as gotten better over time.

Umm that was Rukia.

I'm pretty sure her sister had a different hair style.
The art is the best during the SS arc and then takes a great dip after it in the Bount arc but that was filler so people didn't mind. It then preceded to get back up to snuff during the current Vaizard/Arrancar arc.
The things they added to the show to take up space was really lame. (Ikkaku's R-tard dance and Yumichika's little chase seen extension was really unneeded. Seriously, if I didn't know just how awesome Ikkaku is I'd freaking hate him due to his lame intro.) The series will always retain that excess of comedy not found in the manga but it gets handled way better eventually.
Ikkaku didn't sound that great but I think he'll end up like most of the cast and become better as time goes on. Yumichika did not sound beautiful enough, while I'm glad they stuck to their guns like the original and gave him a guys voice, he's supposed to sound more narcissistic.

Just thought I would point that out.

Eh, in the ending theme I thought it would be her since you mentioned before. And since you said that the sister looks so much like Rukia herself to the point that the Captain hasn't even looked at her in around 40 years, I thought that would be her. Also, her back is turned to the viewer anyway so there's no way to be sure. But then again, you've got spoilers so maybe you know a lil' somethin'-somethin' that I don't.
Anyway, Green_Bird's links are interesting and how the resemblance between the two so yeah.
Peace.

In last nights episode, Shinji( Spike Spencer) was doing the voice for that kid with the tray. I think that's cool that different voice actors do differnet characters. Like how the guy who does Roger, does Mugen, and Kazuma.
HAHA cool!

...so, how about that Bleach episode you were talking about? Oh wait.
Anyway, the animation was killing it last week and this week... it reminds me of Dragonball Z where one episode's animation would be flawless and then the next would be trival crap and an insult to animation as a whole.
That's what happened in the last episode.
Not much really anyway, Ichigo beat Ikkaku and is heading toward Rukia as Kenny is looking for him. Also, a cool thing with the ending theme is that they show the captains and the assistant captains together. Cool touch.
Peace.

Are you saying it go better or worse btwn last week and this week?
Yeah, I agree that not much happened, Ikkaku lost and Yumichika chased Ganju around and fell in the trash and that is about it.
Oh well at least the Kenny fight is coming up.

Yes, the contrast between the quality in animation between this week's and last week's is glaringly obvious and nowhere near to the standards of last week's episodes. It's kind of disappointing really.
And nice to hear about the Kenny/Ichigo fight coming up. I haven't taped an episode since Rukia left and I've been waiting for that fight. Wait, I thought ol' boy fought Renji before he fought Kenny in the manga?
Peace.
