Sorry, what I meant to say was Renji put up a good fight against Kukuchi but ultimately had no chance. And the pity thing didn't look that way in the manga but eh I suppose.

Ichigo has beat one person in the last five or so fights he's been in. Most of the fights are so one sided and they all seem to be going the same way, if the good guy can win, they get owned for half the fight and then come back and kill their enemies with one hit or they just lose completely with no defense at all.

Poor Ichigo. . . That's a throwback to my days of Yu-Yu- Hakusho . . .

And you're wrong, Hiei does get cut in half, while Aizen only cuts 9/10 of the way through. Ichigo was still dangling on what little bit of spine he had left.

Though I just realized, Ichigo should totally be dead, he had many of his vitals cut in half but since it's anime I'll let that slide but the fact that Ichigo was talking and trying to move was just ridiculous and just to reassure me of my statement I reread the chapters in question, 174 & 175, and realized how stupidly powerful Aizen is, if you see sword even one in your life you're constantly under his hypnosis, and that was just his shikai.

The highlights of this latest episode were Uruyu's spare cape and Orihime getting hit in the eye. Other than that, it reminded me of 156 similar episodes that Inuyasha had.


No Urahara or Rukia =

You don't really see a lot of Urahara in general and in all honesty, I don't really like Rukia.

Though Yoruichi head butting Orhime was hilarious.

Gotta love it when a cat hits a human. X3

...the episode was kind of weak, and this is basically filler at the moment (it wasn't all that in the manga anyway, so yeah). I liked what Gin did though with his time but the scenes with Brad and the kid were kind of weak the same with the brute that came in later (I have no idea what is name is). At least his sister is in the next episode, she was kind of cool with the cannon gimmick and all.

His name is Ganju, the guy says it like a dozen times.

It was a nice little ep but they killed Gin's voice in the dub, I was thinking that through most of his lines and wanted to see how he'd handle the "bye-bye" line and he messed it up. That is one of the most notorious scenes in Bleach in my opinion and the guy couldn't nail it.

Why is that "one of the most notorious scenes" and I thought he did alright (not as bad as Kenny's anyway).

The original scene was so well executed in it's humor and it gave you the perfect impression of Gin creepy, playful, and a jerk while the Dub just sounds like a jerk.

He could have said the line any way possible and Scrouge still would have complained.

Lies, lies and slander. All the guy had to say was"Bye bye" in a creepy/playful way and I would've been happy. Not only did he not say it right, he added on crap which is weird because Gin says "bye bye" in the original yet the dub some how had more mouth flaps.

Dang - because of last night's snow storm in the Midwest, I missed this show (2/24/07). Can anyone share a summary? Thanks!

The crew meet a crazy cool chick who likes to play with firecrackers. Her little brother is the pig man Ichigo got pissed at. They fight and break the crazy cool chick's smoking pipe thing. She goes ultra-Catholic Nun on the two and levels the house (which has two arms holing up a banner ientifying the house). And Yoruichi is shown to know some very strange people. Also, there are hints the family have something against soul reapers.

All in all, I really just liked the episode because it made me laugh.

Who know's Yoruichi's other English VA?

Yeah this last episode was kinda funny, So yeah the "crazy cool chick" has only one arm.

Oh, I like her. She's one of my favorite characters in Bleach and her method of getting into the Soul Society sector is... interesting to say the least. Also, I didn't realize she had a missing arm until after I re-read the volume of the manga again.

I missed the last episode, and I'm guessing here but, is the next episode;

They get into the Soul Society with that cannon device they got help with the one lady and they get separted. Ichigo runs into the bald-headed Soul Reaper and Ganju runs into the Soul Reaper obsessed with beauty and all that. Is that around the right gist of things?

Just wondering if anybody knows.
