That Hollow mask he removed, he keeps it later on and it saves his life as he is in the Soul Society in his fight with Renji. But he says that he had no idea that he still had it and thought that he threw it away. At least that's how its going in the manga and they haven't touched on that since Ichigo defeated Renji.

The sequence with his sword in that dimension of his wasn't bad either but the thing is, there is still a lot of filler episodes to go through before the main aspect of the Soul Society arc and all that.

They still have to go through the gate to get to the other world, defeat that one giant that guards the entrance to the world, meet up with the lady and the brother (siblings of Kazen) who can get through the barrier of the Soul Society.

In other news, KENNY WAS DONE JUSTICE! Fox-Face is still a freaky and obvious bad person. Urahara as always proves to have a twisted sense of humor.

Anyway, the episode was decent. I liked seeing Urahara show off his skills. He’s such a badass, he could easily save Rukia by himself. At least they are finally on their way, they made that quicker than shows like Inuyasha would.

I also noticed the lesbian thing, I’ve been talking about it since the beginning of the series.

Besides Ichigo getting learning Zangetsu's name none of the show really mattered. They didn't even enter the gate yet so meh.

Yeah, Urahara is pretty strong but he doesn't do anything all that great in a fight for over a hundred episodes.

Orihime x Tatsuki is all in your head. I've given the reason many times now.

I don't know what she said but for some reason fans seem to get a strong Ishida x Orihime. (yeah, quite the jump in subject.)

No they are not a couple but she clearly states she loves him and unless they end up together, I don't see her coming back and living normally.

Kenny just needs to warm up to the role like Renji did.

Obviously everyone finds out if she walks around openly as a woman.

It is well handled, the biggest stumbling block in the plot was at the start of the arc after the SS arc.

Ichigo's dad is a captain level shinigami, Ishida's dad comes out of no where and trains Ishida but while his dad is training him his dad says "If I train you, you can never help a shinigami again." Three chapters later, bam, Ishida, Chad, and Ichigo are off to save Orihime. There is the whole Vaizard training and Arrancar battles but I don't feel like going into details about that.

Well I did read every chapter released and watched episodes from ep 22 - the current ep. (sans two eps on my PC I haven't watched.)

So hurray reading comprehension and free time!

Personally I don't like reading spoilers because it cheapens the overall experience.

The latest episode was kind of boring, with Ichigo facing up against the guardian of the Soul Society gate. Once again, the overuse of dialogue and overexplanation hurts the series, but meh.

Not that much else really but the Captain of 3rd company, Gin, is coming in the next episode and they get that one lady and her brother (siblings of Kizen) to help them get over the gate of the Soul Society so yeah.

I also read the latest manga volume that's come out, Volume 16 I believe, and even though it didn't have Ichigo in it at all (except for one panel), Renji almost defeated Captain Kukuchi, Kenny defeated two captains (that darn Kenny, he's the best) and Rukia's execution has started.

It's vol 17, and I am very proud of Renji. He did a damn good job. Kenny was no surprise.

*sigh* Nine-san summed up everything pretty good. The episode was pretty dull. The only highlight for me is that Gin creeps me out more in the anime than he did in the manga. It's like the same feeling I get when I see Seishiro, only less hate and more creepy.

I'll watch this weeks episode just to hear the voice of Aizen's sister. Then I'll skip a few. Wake me up when we get to the real fights!

Yeah, it was a episode with a little to much talking for my taste.

Also are both of you stoned? Renji was decimated by Byakuya, so much so that he felt bad for Renji's weakness and allowed him to see his Ban Kai out of pity.

Tousen and Foxy get owned by Kenny but they both suck.

Given, Tousen was more than likely holding back considering that Tousen is one of the boogy-men of the series.

I'm looking forward to the on coming battles, most of them are pretty damn good.

Sadly, the battles get fairly one-sided towards the end of the series. Aizen cuts Ichigo almost in half, atlest through some of his spine. The Arrancar show up and dominate the good guys in their first fight. The Espada nearly kill Chad, Orhime, Ichigo, Hitsugaya, Renji, and a few other shinigami when they show up and as of the last chapter, Chad was basically killed by a single hit.

All in all they all end up getting raped after the SS arc.
