Well, I've watched two and a half hours of it so far. I don't really know how much longer I can go though. The episodes I really want to watch again will be on much later though. >_< I watched the first four despite having the first DVD.

They are already releasing the DVDs, damn I didn't even realize.

Oh well, I think I watch up through the Kon mini-arc then call it a night... morning.

Yeah, that surprised me too. I saw the first edition out already (which Raven said to already have). Also, I'm not watching the marathon, even though I'd like too. Saw the episode with Kon going buckwild in Ichigo's body though.

Yeah, the first DVD came out near the end of November I believe? Not too sure, but I did preorder that one. I think the next one is scheduled around the end of January. The Trinity Blood ones seem to be coming out a lot faster.

i just realized the voice of kon was by quinton flint, the same guy who did reno in advent children and axel in kingdom hearts 2! eee....

He basically uses a whinier Axel voice for Kon.

if he uses a whinier axel voice, then what was that type of tone quinton used when we first saw kon in ichigo's body?

A voice different than Reno and Axel but not very different from Axel.

About the episode, since seeing a little somethin'-somethin' from some AMV's and from the manga, I've been waiting for this one. Just kind of annoyed they broke it up into two episodes (probably even more).

Renji's VA still isn't working for me but its cool to see him in action nonetheless, especially against Ichigo who's pretty much way over his head. And Captain Kukuchi hasn't done anything yet (but he will).

Kon's preview for the next episode... had nothing to do at all with the next episode but it was pretty important with the structure of how things are played out over at the Soul Society. Also I just realized, with the exception of the first episode, we never see Rukia in action as a Soul Reaper. Would have cool to see her and Ichigo in action together.

Yeah. I hate Renji's VA too. Why do they screw up on characters like him? It should be easy to figure out what kind of voice he needs.

Rukia's "brother". Asshole to no ends. Ranks up on my "HATE CHOOS" list along with fox-face. And he just pisses me off in general, so meh.

As for the episode, I liked it. I didn't expect to see Uryu come to the rescue at all. Too bad he didn't do anything at all before getting dropped. The next episode looks promising as well. Does Ichigo get the upper hand on Renji?

And yeah, his voice sucked.

It is some kinda of paper ornament that nobles used to wear in Japan, I think.

I find it hilarious how under thought out Renji and Byakuya are both physically and as characters themselves.

I haven't seen this part of the story in a long time and looking back, it is a sad sight.

And their VAs aren't the best, Renji sounds older and more mature than he should and Byakuya also sounds too old.

Renji's voice is out of character for him it's unbelievable. I still say they should have tried getting Lex Lang or someone else with or able to do a gruffer voice. Byakuya's isn't how I would have imagined it (I would have thought they would have had Kirk Thornton do his voice for a more drabby sound)...but his is good compared to Renji's. Not to mention Urahara's sounds a lot better now like Michael Lindsay finally got into character.

I think the problem is that [as] doesnt have a real good anime base. They have good shows but theyre just not as good as the ones they used to show. Sure Inu Yasha and Full Metal Alchemist are alright but theyve been on forever. They need to get some new shows.

Death Note would kick ass. I'd even settle for something in Japanese with English subtitles at this point. I haven't seen Outlaw Star in years. . . Hellsing would be the sh*ts. Vampire Hunter D. More horror in general would be awesome.

*sigh* We definitly need something new.
