The secret science base thing was a nice addition, but I have to tell you I'm glad we can finally get moving somewhere again with Renton and Eureka. I'm wondering what will happen when Renton relises who's rifle that is. (I'm almost sure it's Charles') I'm quite sure the next episode is going to be all about Eureka & Renton's, and Domonic & Anemone's current problems and finally solving them, with the episode's name being "Do you want me?".

Anemone is basically the same thing Rei was in Evangelion, she was just a clone used to pilot the robot.

Thing is, Anemone isn't a clone, just a victimized girl.

They just pick up girls that are survivors of the attacks of those alien things.
I think they did some cosmetic work on those three girls to make them look more like Anemone.

Last night's episode was pretty good. A lot went down and finally, some head way with the plot somewhat. I liked Maurice's rifle drama and how Eureka killed their first mama and that she was all they had left. Somethin' so touchin'. Also, the whole beating up your own left arm to make Eureka feel better was kind of stupid.
Looks like the lil' hippie magazine has some purpose after all. I liked the speech the General gave to mutiny against Dewey and Dominic joining Gekko State. Interesting.
And Renten getting a fever was a cool way to end the show. That's what happens when you f*** up your own arm in a useless attempt to make your girl feel better about yourself. Sucka.
Peace.

Damn, double post. Bad form, Correlians. Bad form.
Anyway, another good episode and a lot went down as well. The Gekko State and the Army are about to go to war against Dewey and Eureka sprouted green and pink wings. They... were kind of cool and looked like they had a smooth and slick feel to them.
Oh, and this was the episode where Renten met his sister Diana at the end. I was wondering when that episode would pop up and looks like things in the next episode is going to explain the some things. Like what do surfboarding mechas, a teal haired alien who needs to get laid and the end of the universe have to do with each other.
Peace.

I liked the setting up of the battle "a couple thousand ships vs. 2"
Now I'm all for up hill battles but that is just stupid, only idiots would go into a battle so uneven. Hell I even get the whole "So at least we'll die for what we believe in!" crap but come on now, don't BS a BSer like that.
And back on Earth, a crapload of nothing happened except that Eureka grew butterfly wings.

BUT... IT'S A BATTLE TO PREVENT THE END OF THE UNIVERSE!
I see what you are saying, but I actually liked the setup they went with in regards to that battle coming up. Sure, calling the whole idiotic makes this sound even remotely logical but the conversation between the General and Holland was a nice touch as far as that goes.
And on Earth... Renten did see his sister. Just want to point that out again.
Peace.

I'm very confused about the whole sister thing. I'm thinking she got swollowed by the scub coral. She was in Acperiance 1.(which has a close resembelence to the Earth Eureka and Renton are on.) then she appears there at the Corralian core. How did she beat them to the genuine promised land? I say she didn't, at least not as a whole. I think her mind is there, but...I hope you get the idea.
that orbital weapon thing the Dewey said was 10,000 years old was cool. as for the battle... I think it was 80% of the total Federation air force vs. 2 ships. the two ships will win and only win for two reasons. first the heros almost never die. second they have cooler paint jobs then the military ships. There is no way they'll lose.

I think its actually Diana, all of her... and I'm pretty sure his father is there as well. I don't know where you got the implication that she was swallowed by the scub coral since I don't even think they showed that at anytime. She left for research and to finish her father's work is all. And besides, they just showed her for the last two seconds and more is to be revealed in the next episode, so yeah.
Peace.

It is still to far fetched for my tastes, it is like 300 Spartans vs. a million Persians.
*cough*

You don't find it a little weird that she beat them there? or as to how she got there? or how she'd know they were coming there? She hasn't been near any of the characters in years.
PS: I was able to rewatch tidbits of Eureka Seven and Diana is mentioned in one way or another almost every 3 episodes.
Also, no one liked my joke about how the heros always win?

Not really. I mean, even by the start of the series, she left home and has been missing since then to finish her father's work, which this is a part of. So maybe she ventured there a long time ago by then.

Pretty much, Renten looks up to her and always mentions her when he's narrating a lot of the time.

Not rly, sorry. Scourge's was much better, since it makes fun of 300 which is grossly overrated and under so little time as well.

before It's too late, and the episode goes on the air... The Eureka seven end of the episode preveiw for Acperiance 4 said this: "In a conversation with the land the boy and the girl find out the truth behind it all. A certain decision is made for the two who have choosen their future. Next episode: Acperiance 4."
The point is when they say conversation with the land, The screen shows Renton talking with Diana in the library the appeared in Acperiance 2,3 and now 4. Also how hasen't Diana changed at all in eight, maybe ten years? She looks just as Renton remembers her from before she left. Don't you find that odd?
If I'm wrong then I am, I just like it when I can partly anticipate what is going to happen, because it means I caught enough of Bones' ever prevalent hidden clues. I'm not trying to prove anyone wrong, so much as to prove I've been paying attention to the clues which make Bones' work so worth watching.

Are you going to do this in the Blood+ and the Bleach threads too?
Just wondering, because it seems rather unnecessary especially now it being Wednesday and all.
