File Hosting

Frak, irev is out again. Has been since late yesterday.
Reason unknown, unable to gain any kind of access to the site. Site not able to accept e-mail either.

Edit: irev is apperently opperational again. Again downtime was approx. 24hrs.

I've had a free account at Boomspeed.com for a while, and it's great. Easy to use, but you only get about 1 megabyte of space. Now, though, free accounts are only trials, and it seems that they run out on March 1st. o_O Luckily I got mine before they made the free accounts trials. Still, the payment is cheap: About $6 a month. I'm gonna ask my mom to upgrade it. So if you don't mind paying a bit, Boomspeed is a good choice.

Today I started using Photobucket.com (free), and it seems to be doing good so far. I'm hosting my siggy pic on it. ^_^

To all who use Irev....well, if u haven't noticed, it's down....again...hm, first time this month, i think....bah

*edit* well, looks like it's back up, i think that was the shortest amount of downtime i've ever seen irev have

Like I said, about 24hrs. Well, a block or24hrs of downtime per month is quite acceptable considering the amout of use we put it through.

Cybertarp also gives 10 MB.

They don't give as much . . .I think it's 6 MB or something like that.

The only downside is that you have to save your own URLs in a text document of some sort.

ImageShack won't link properly for me. My pictures show up as Red x's.

I got a question for everyone...Does irev have a limit? 'cause I have a bunch of stuff there and I don't want to have to start putting it somewhere else.

No, not that I know of, but I wouldnt exactly try to push it more than you have to. I just use iRev for pictures that are directly on the page (banners), I use PhotoCabin for everything else that I can just put a link to.

Im looking for a FREE place that allows PNGs, anyone got a suggestion?

Photobucket allows jpg, gif, png, and bmp

It's free, and it's the best hosting site I've ever used.

I filled mine up.
So I registered a new name.

How can that be? I just went to my account, and copied all the urls, and pasted them in to word and did a line count, and I got 605.

It just wouldn't let me upload a picture. I'd hit "upload" and it would go back to the regular list without adding it. I counted and got 100 and figured that was a limit.

Maybe the system was just down then. Whoops.
