Episode 50 Discussion: "Death"

The fight was sort of rushed but other than, one of the best episodes of the series.

I watching the episode over again and I noticed that Dante told Edward that using alchemy would cause unexpected events regarding Alphonse and the Philosopher's Stone. But earlier with Wrath, Dante used alchemy to open the gate and shut Wrath the hell up. When she opened the gate, Alphonse's Philosopher's Stone was activated and nothing happened.

So... was Dante lying to Edward when she said that alchemy might affect Alphonse in unknown ways to help Envy or something like that? Or did she really mean it, or is it just a plot hole that I'm overlooking? Just wondering about it.

I agree with this statement. There was a LOT of stuff going on in this episode - three separate conflicts/duels/battles, not counting Armstrong and the rest of the gang in their coup stand-off.

It will be interesting to see how they can resolve all of this in just one more episode - that right?

Nope, the series is unfortunately 51 episodes long, so the last episode will air this week. I'm not sure why they didn't go with the more standard 52...
