The Question 04-28-2007 02:42 PM
I should have listened to her,
so hard to keep control.
We kept on eating but our
bloated bellies still not full.
She gave us all she had but
we went and took some more.
Can't seem to shut her legs our
mother nature is a whore.

I got my propaganda i got revisionism.
I got my violence in high def ultra-realism.
All a part of this great nation.
I got my fist I got my plan I got survivalism.

Hypnotic sounds of sirens
echoing through the street.
The cocking of the rifles,
the marching of the feet.
You see your world on fire,
don't try to act surprised.
We did just what you told us.
Lost our faith along the way and found ourselves believing your lies.

I got my propaganda i got revisionism.
I got my violence in high def ultra-realism.
All a part of this great nation.
I got my fist I got my plan I got survivalism.

All bruised and broken bleeding,
she asks to take my hand.
I turn and keep on walking.
But you'd do the same thing in the circumstance I'm sure you understand.

I got my propaganda i got revisionism.
I got my violence in high def ultra-realism.
All a part of this great nation.
I got my fist I got my plan I got survivalism.

Lordi - EviLove

I gave you deep red roses
The thorns cut your hand
We are an owl and a mouse´s doomd romance
Now I would like to fondle
But my nails rip your skin
My most tender kiss stings your lips like pins

Your cries they make no difference
I´ll always love you the same
Now I try to restrain myself
Cause my affection means pain

Honey, honey
Lemme hug you like a spider
Honey, honey
Lemme give you evilove
Honey, honey
Lemme kiss you like a viper
Open up your heart
Recive my evilove

Our night in Paris with candels
ended up in flames
And cupids´ arrow mangled your pretty face
I wanna be your dream-date
Who takes away your breath
But I´m the man of your nightmares
The gentleman death

Honey, honey
Lemme hug you like a spider
Honey, honey
Lemme give you evilove
Honey, honey
Lemme kiss you like a viper
Open up your heart
Recive my evilove

The Protomen -- A Mega Man Rock Opera
Hope Rides Alone
Narrator:
No one was left who could remember how it had happened, how the world had fallen under darkness.
At least no one who would do anything.
No one who would oppose the robots.
No one who would challenge their power, or so Dr. Wily believed...

Twenty Floors above the dark streets of the city, Dr. Light lived in a run-down tenement.
An eccentric and brilliant man. Light was a loner, a thinker, a man of ideas.
Ideas forbidden in Wiley's society.
The society for which he worked.
The society in which he lived.
The society that he would set free.
And so Light worked, far into the night, when the watchful eyes of Wiley's robots weren't upon him.
He'd set his skillful hands to the task of creating a device to bring about a change, to create a machine to bring freedom, to create a man to save the world.
Twelve years Light worked and on a cold night in the year 200X, Protoman was born.
A perfect man, an unbeatable machine, hell-bent on destroying every evil standing between man and freedom, built for one purpose, to destroy Wiley's army of evil robots.
Ready, willing, prepared to fight

Cutman
Gutsman
Elecman
Bombman
Fireman
Iceman
Proto

Fireman:
Attack!

Narrator:
Fight.

And as the smoke cleared. Wiley rose above the countless robots remaining. Protoman was wounded, low on energy, struggling to remain standing as Wiley ordered the final attack.

The death of Protoman.

The crowd had gathered there to watch him fall, to watch their hopes destroyed. They watched them beat him, they watched them break him, they watched his last defense deployed.
There was not a man among them who could let himself be heard.
But from the cword, from the collective fear, arose these broken words:
We are the dead
We are the dead

Human Choir: What have we done?
Narrator: We are the dead
Human CHoir: What will we do?
Narrator: We are the dead
Human Choir: Where will we turn?
Narrator: We are the dead
Human Choir: Is there nothing we can do?
Narrator: We are the dead
Human Choir: How did it come to this?
Narrator: We are the dead
Human Choir: How did we go so wrong?
Narrator: We are the dead
Human Choir: We are the dead

Funeral For a Son (Instrumental)

Unrest In the House of Light
You have heard me tell this story
Many times before you sleep
This time listen carefully

And I will tell you once again
But this time understand that what I'm telling you.
Every single word is true.

You need to know.

There was another who came before you
He was a hero and your brother and my son.
He fought the darkness, the darkness won.

And he fought bravely, and he died bravely
But he was forsaken by the ones he wished to save.
And when he died he died in vain.

You need to know.
You are not him.

That time is coming, and I must warn you
That though it's something that you may not understand
They can be saved by just one man.

And I am sorry, cause I was wrong
And I'd take away the weight his shoulders had to bear.
Cause when he fell I was the only one who cared.

You need to know.
You are not him.
This fight's not yours.

That story's finished. That story's ended.
Understand there's no more that we can do.
And I will not risk losing you.

For if you leave now, you will be fighting
for a people that refuse to comprehend
They have chosen their own end.

So you will stay here. You will obey me.
And I will keep grieving for the son I sent to death.
You are the only thing I have left.

You need to know.
You are not him.
This fight's not yours.

You cannot win

Sunshine Soldier
by
Arthur

Walking down the street
is a Sunshine Soldier
a penny in his pocket
not a dream to his name.

His day has past,
his world has ended,
and now he stands in the
pouring rain.

A child walks by
and hands him a flower
and that is how
love is begun.

Brothers and sisters
embrace each other.
A shadow has fallen from
the face of man.

He closes his eyes
and the Sunshine Soldier
has found he really has
no place to stand

Children gather round
lets do something for him now
all together, lets lend him a hand

The world has changed
his ship is upended (?)
and now he feels he has
no place to go.

On another day, c'mon c'mon
With these ropes I tied, tight can we do no wrong?
Now we grieve cause now is gone
Things were good when we were young

When my teeth bite down I can see the blood
Of a thousand men who have come and gone
Now we grieve cause now is gone
Things were good when we were young

Is it safe to say? (c'mon c'mon)
Was it right to leave? (c'mon c'mon)
Will I ever learn? (c'mon c'mon)
(c'mon c'mon c'mon c'mon)

As I make my way, c'mon c'mon
These bitter nights that seem too long
Now we grieve cause now is gone
Things were good when we were young

With my teeth locked down I can see the blood
Of a thousand men who have come and gone
Now we grieve cause now is gone
Things were good when we were young

Is it safe to say? (c'mon c'mon)
Was it right to leave? (c'mon c'mon)
Will I never learn? (c'mon c'mon)
(c'mon c'mon c'mon c'mon)

Is it safe to say? (c'mon c'mon)
Was it right to leave? (c'mon c'mon)
Will I never learn? (c'mon c'mon)
(c'mon c'mon c'mon c'mon)

And now this day these deepened wounds don't heal so fast
Can't hear me croon of a million lies that speak no truth
Of a time gone by that now is through

"Horror With Eyeballs" - The Dissociatives

All of this time on my hands
So far has gone to feeding my animals

Behind this gold picket fence lies a whole a institute
Where wallpaper painters scrape and scarecrows swell waterlogged,
Now I've got dead time on my hands
For feeding my animals

All of this time on my hands
So far has gone to feeding my animals

On this dark kissed day the light shines through only you
Or is it because your silhouette is your frame like an empty window,
Now I got cold time up my sleeve,
I'm feeling destitute

All of this time on my hands
So far has gone to feeding my animals

Hammerfall - Hearts on Fire

We saw the writings on the wall
When heathens ruled above us all
Tormented, we still heard the call

You come to bring us down
Wield the scepter, steal the crown
Time on the throne is running out

'Cause seasons change but we are still the same
Even though the cold winds blow we're burning like a
flame '

Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire
Burning for the steel

Hearts On Fire

For years shunned by society
Outcasts, condemned for our beliefs
Our legions grew in secrecy

And now, the time is here
I see the Templars everywhere
The Freedom Call is drawing near

We hold our rebel banners up with pride
The colour's crimson and the Hammer is the sign

Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire
Burning for the steel

Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire...

Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire...

Hearts On Fire
