This will all fall down like everything else that was
This too shall pass and all of the words we said
We can't take back

Now every fool in town would've left by now
I can't replace all the wasted days
The memory of your face - can't help thinkin'

Maybe if we ever coulda kept it all together
Where would weá be
A thousand lost forevers
And the promises you never were giving me
Here's what I'm thinking

chorus

It won't be the first - heart that you break
It won't be the last - beautiful girl
The one that you wrecked - won't take you back
If you were the last beautiful girl in the world

Tell me one more time
How you're sorry about the way
This all went down - you needed to find your space
You needed to still be friends
Needed me to
Call you if I ever couldn't keep it all together
you'd comfort me
Tell me but forever
And the promises I never should have believed in
Here's what I'm thinking

chorus

It won't be the first - heart that you break
It won't be the last - beautiful girl
The one that you wrecked - won't take you back
If you were the last beautiful girl in the world

It's over now - And I've gone without
Cuz you're everybody else's girl
It seems to me - you'll always be
Everyone else's girl

This will all fall down
Like everything in the world
This too must end
And everything else that was
We can't take back

Later,

Sometimes I feel
like I am drunk behind the wheel
the wheel of possibility
however it may roll
give it a spin
see if you can somehow factor in
you know there's always more than one way
to say exactly what you mean to say

Was I out of my head? Was I out of my mind?
How could I have ever been so blind?
I was waiting for an indication
it was hard to find
Don't matter what I say only what I do
I never mean to do bad things to you
so quiet but I finally woke up
if you're sad then it's time you spoke up too

Was I out of my head? Was I out of my mind?
How could I have ever been so blind?
I was waiting for an invitation
it was hard to find
Don't matter what I say only what I do
I never mean to do bad things to you
so quiet but I finally woke up
if you're sad then it's time you spoke up too

This song is my reality. I can hope and dream and wish all I want. The man I love will probably never love me. I'm happy he's found happiness, I really am. But, that doesn't mean I don't still hurt.

I look at you and see
My life that might have been:
Your face just ghostly in the smoke.
They’re setting fire to the cornfields
As you’re taking me home.
The smell of burning fields
Will now mean you and here.

This is where I want to be.
This is what I need.
This is where I want to be.
This is what I need.
This is where I want to be,
But I know that this will never be mine.

Ooh, the thrill and the hurting.
The thrill and the hurting.
I know that this will never be mine.

I want you as the dream,
Not the reality.
That clumsy goodbye-kiss could fool me,
But I’m looking back over my shoulder
At you, happy without me.

This is where I want to be.
This is what I need.
This is where I want to be.
This is what I need.
This is where I want to be,
But I know that this will never be mine.

Ooh, the thrill and the hurting
Will never be mine.
The thrill and the hurting,
It will never be mine.
It can never be.
The thrill and the hurting
Will never be mine.

Personal Jesus by Marilyn Manson (originally by Depeche Mode)
Your own personal Jesus
Someone to hear your prayers
Someone who cares
Your own personal Jesus
Someone to hear your prayers
Someone who's there

Feeling unknown
And you're all alone
Flesh and bone
By the telephone
Lift up the receiver
I'll make you a believer

Take second best
Put me to the test
Things on your chest
That we need to confess
I will deliver
You know I'm a forgiver

Reach out and touch faith

Your own personal Jesus
Someone to hear your prayers
Someone who cares
Your own personal Jesus
Someone to hear your prayers
Someone who's there

Feeling unknown
And you're all alone
Flesh and bone
By the telephone
Lift up the receiver
I'll make you a believer
I will deliver
You know I'm a forgiver

Reach out and touch faith
Reach out and touch faith
Reach out and touch faith

Reach out and touch faith (Reach out, reach out)
Reach out and touch faith (Reach out, reach out)
Reach out and touch faith (Reach out, reach out)
Reach out and touch faith

Probably my new favorite song. Period.

Foo Fighters - Everlong

Hello
I've waited here for you
Everlong

Tonight I throw myself in two
Out of the red
Out of her head she sang

Come down and waste away with me
Down with me
Slow, how
you wanted it to be
I'm over my head
Out of her head she sang

And I wonder
When I sing along with you
If everything could ever feel this real forever
If anything could ever be this good again
The only thing I'll ever ask of you
You've got to promise not to stop when I say when

She sang

Breathe out
So I can breathe you in
Hold you in
And now
I know you've always been
Out of your head
Out of my head I sang

And I wonder
When I sing along with you
If everything could ever feel this real forever
If anything could ever be this good again
The only thing I'll ever ask of you
You've got to promise not to stop when I say when

She Sang

And I wonder
If everything could ever feel this real forever
If anything could ever be this good again
The only thing I'll ever ask of you
You've got to promise not to stop when I say when

On my way home, police car pulled me over.
After they left, I puttered out of gas.
Triple-A' came, but my card was expired!
I had to walk home, and of course, it rained half the time.
I tried to get some shut-eye, then I was abducted!
They put cold things in my butt.
They sampled a bit of my D.N.A.
They left me on top of my sheets,
I dreamt I went potty, then woke up drenched in me.
This day sucked the hardest ever...
I woke up on the wrong side of the bed today.
A little bit less than nothing would go my way.
I got up to toss my soiled sheets,
the hallway was dark and I stubbed my big toe.
It was then that I sensed the irony (burning me),
then I heard the voice say,
"Come sail aboard S.S. Nepenthe!"
I suppose I'm to blame for getting pulled over.
I guess I'm the culprit for running out of gas.
Let's assume I'm the guy who didn't pay his 'Triple-A' fee.
In actuality, I let the zetas probe me.
Yesterday was all my fault.
I let negativity get the better of me.
Thank goodness for the bathtubs and suds!
They temporarily set free this quandary.

I know the gutter and I know the stink of the street
Kicked like a dog, I have spat out the bile of defeat
All you beauties who towered above me
You who gave me the smack of your rod
Now I give you the gutter
I give you the judgement of God!
Vengeance victorious
These are the glorious days
Women of Paris, come gather your bloody buquets!
Now gaze on our goddess of justice
With her shimmering, glimmering blade
As she kisses these traitors she sings them a last serenade
Sing, swing
Savour the sting
As she severs you, Madame Guillotine
Slice, come paradise
You'll be smitten with Madame Guillotine

The world may be ugly, but each man must do what he must
Give in pretty dear, in a year you will be pretty dust
Now come let our lady possess you
In her breathtaking, hair-raising bed
She will tingle your spine
As she captures your heart and your head
Sing, swing
Savour the sting
As she severs you, Madame Guillotine
Slice, come paradise
Our Delilah will shave you razor clean

God, when did man lose his reason?
Save us, my God, if you're there
God, can you not feel the terror like a fire in the air?
Flash, slash!
Glisten and gash!
She will ravash you, Madame Guillotine
Split, Madame just bit
Give her more to bite, she's a hungry queen
Sing, savour the sting
As she severs you, Madame Guillotine
Slice, come paradise
Hail her Majesty!
Madame Guillotine!

DumdadumdadumdadumdaDADA, dumdadumdadaumdadDADADADA!

Well I walk into the room passing out hundred dollar bills and it kills and it thrills like the horns on my silverado grill. And I buy the bar a double round of crown and everybodys gettin down and this town anit never gonna be the same, cause

I sattle up my horse and I ride into the city. I make a lot of noise cause the girls they are so pretty, ridin up and down Broadway on my ol' stud Leroy and the girls say save a horse ride a cowboy, everybody says save a horse ride a cowboy!

Well i don't give a dang about nothin I'm singin and bling-blingin while the girls their drinkin LONG NECKS DOWN and I wouldn't trade ol' Leroy or my Chevrolette for your Escalde or freak parade, I'm the only John Wayne left in this town, and

I sattle up my horse and I ride into the city. I make a lot of noise cause the girls they are so pretty, ridin up and down Broadway on my ol' stud Leroy and the girls say save a horse ride a cowboy, everybody says save a horse ride a cowboy!

Well I'm a troubred, that whats she said, on the back of my truck bed, as I was gettin buzzed on suds out on some back country road. We were flyin high, fine as wine, having ourselves a Big and Rich time, and I was goin just about as far as shed let me go. But her evaluation of my cowboy reputation had beggin for salvation all night long. So I took her out giggin frogs, introduced to my ol' bird dog, snag her every Willie Nelson song I could think of, and WE MADE LOVE! and,

I sattle up my horse and I ride into the city. I make a lot of noise cause the girls they are so pretty, ridin up and down Broadway on my ol' stud Leroy and the girls say save a horse ride a cowboy, everybody says save a horse ride a cowboy!

I sattle up my horse and I ride into the city. I make a lot of noise cause the girls they are so pretty, ridin up and down Broadway on my ol' stud Leroy and the girls say save a horse ride a cowboy, everybody says save a horse ride a cowboy!

What, what save a horse ride a cowboy! Everybody says save a horse, ride a cowboy!

Big & Rich-Save a horse, ride a cowboy.

Hunt for the man
Comb the city, every street, every grate
You put a guard at every gate
Drag him out, shout the moment that you find him!
Damn!
Knock in the doors, lock up the city
Track him down through this town
And be quick about it...now!
How the devil do I ever prevail when I'm only a man?
But I'll never be duped by this scurrilous phantom again

I wasn't born to walk on water
I wasn't born to sack and slaughter
But on my soul, I wasn't born
To stoop, to scorn, and knuckle under
A man can learn to steal some thunder
A man can learn to work some wonder
And when the guantlet's down,
it's time to rise and climb the sky

And soon the moon will smoulder
And the winds will drive
Yes, a man grows older but his soul remains alive
All those tremulous stars still glitter
and I will survive!
Let my heart grow colder and as bitter as a falcon in the dive

There was a dream, a dying ember
There was a dream, I don't remember
But I will resurrect that dream
Though rivers stream and hills grow steeper
For here in hell where life gets cheaper
Oh, here in hell the blood runs deeper
And when the final duel is near
I'll lift my spear and fly
Piercing into the sky and higher
And the strong will thrive
Yes, the weak will cower while the fittest will survive
If we wait for the darkest hour
Till we spring alive
Then with claws of fire, we devour like a falcon in the dive

These are the days! Yes!
Days of glory, days of rage, and the dream
And the dream of Paris preys on my bones
Gnawing night and day and clawing through my brain and
No, never bend! Never kneel!
Rend him to bits! Bite!
Now, the beauty of the fight
I'm not a man to hunger for blood, but the spirit can cry
To be younger and fiercer and fly
Piercing into the sky and higher
And the strong will thrive
Yes, the weak will cower while the fittest will survive
If we wait for the darkest hour
Till we spring alive
Then with claws of fire, we devour like a falcon in the dive

Going through a heavy Maiden addiction.

Eleven saintly shrouded men
Silhouettes stand against the sky
One in front with a cross held high
Come to wash my sins away

Standing alone in the wind and rain
Feeling the fear that is growing
Sensing the change in the tide again
Caught by the storm that is brewing
Feel the anxiety hold off the fear
Some of the doubt in the things you beleive
Now that your faith will be put to the test
Nothing to do but await that is coming

Why then is God still protecting me
Even when I don't deserve it
Thought I am blessed with an inner strength
Some they would call it a penance
Why am I meant to face this alone
Asking the question time and again
Praying to god won't keep me alive
Inside my head feel the fear start to rise...

They'll be saying their prayers when the moment comes
There'll be penace to pay when it's judgement day
And the guilt will be bleed when that moment comes
They'll be coming to claim, take your soul away

The sign of the cross
The name that arose, a fire in the sky
The sign of the cross

They'll be coming to bring the eternal flame
They'll be bringing us all immortality
Holding communion so the world be blessed
My creator, my God'll lay my soul to rest

The sign of the cross
The name of that arose, the fire in the sky
The sign of the cross

Lost the love of father above
Chose the lust of the earth below
Eleven saintly shrouded men
Come to wash my sins away

See ya,

Flying Dreams Lullaby - from 'The Secret of NIMH'

Dream by night
Wish by day
Love begins this way
Night's a friend
With love to send
Each new day
Bless your heart
Bless your soul
Let your dreams come true
Future songs
And flying dreams
Wait for you
Love, it seems
Made flying dreams
So hearts could soar
Heaven sent
These wings were meant
To prove
Once more
That love is the key

As you wish
As you will
Dream of flying starts
Love and care
The power's there
Trust your heart
Trust your heart

I hitched a ride with a vending machine repair man
He says he’s been down this road more than twice
He was high on intellectualism
I’ve never been there but the brochure looks nice
Jump in, let’s go
Lay back, enjoy the show
Everybody gets high, everybody gets low,
These are the days when anything goes

Everyday is a winding road
I get a little bit closer
Everyday is a faded sign
I get a little bit closer to feeling fine

He’s got a daughter he calls easter
She was born on a tuesday night
I’m just wondering why I feel so all alone
Why I’m a stranger in my own life
Jump in, let’s go
Lay back, enjoy the show
Everybody gets high, everybody gets low
These are the days when anything goes

Everyday is a winding road
I get a little bit closer
Everyday is a faded sign
I get a little bit closer to feeling fine

I’ve been living in a sea of anarchy
I’ve been living on coffee and nicotine
I’ve been wondering if all the thing I’ve seen
Were ever real, were ever really happening

Everyday is a winding road
I get a little bit closer
Everyday is a faded sign
I get a little bit closer to feeling fine

This song, I must dedicate this to my friends here in PCF. I truly believe you are great, especially the Wayneright sisters:

See me, feel me, heal me (repeat)

Listening to you I get the music
Gazing at you I get the heat
Following you I climb the mountain
I get excitement at your feet
Right behind you I see the millions
On you I see the glory
From you I get opinions
From you I get the story

Last post, then I'm outta here Big Grin

At the risk of sounding morbid, I love songs with images of drama, death, and the "afterlife", and Modest Mouse's "Ocean Breathes Salty" really had an impact on me. Whether that is or is not what the song's about, I love the images it portrays and the sound of it Smile :

Your body may be gone, I'm gonna carry you in.
In my head, in my heart, in my soul.
And maybe we'll get lucky and we'll both live again.
Well I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Don't think so.

Well that is that and this is this.
You tell me what you want and I'll tell you what you get.
You get away from me. You get away from me.
Collected my belongings and I left the jail.
Well thanks for the time, I needed to think a spell.
I had to think awhile. I had to think awhile.

The ocean breathes salty, won't you carry it in?
In your head, in your mouth, in your soul.
And maybe we'll get lucky and we'll both grow old.
Well I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I hope so.

Well that is that and this is this.
You tell me what you want and I'll tell you what you get.
You get away from me. You get away from me.
Collected my belongings and I left the jail.
Well thanks for the time, I needed to think a spell.
I had to think awhile. I had to think awhile.

Well that is that and this is this.
Will you tell me what you saw and I'll tell you what you missed,
when the ocean met the sky.
You missed when time and life shook hands and said goodbye.
When the earth folded on itself.
And said "Good luck, for your sake I hope heaven and hell
are really there, but I wouldn't hold my breath."
You wasted life, why wouldn't you waste death?
You wasted life, why wouldn't you waste death?

The ocean breathes salty, won't you carry it in?
In your head, in your mouth, in your soul.
The more we move ahead the more we're stuck in rewind.
Well I don't mind. I don't mind. How the hell could I mind?

Well that is that and this is this.
You tell me what you want and I'll tell you what you get.
You get away from me. You get away from me.

Well that is that and this is this.
Will you tell me what you saw and I'll tell you what you missed,
when the ocean met the sky.
You wasted life, why wouldn't you waste the afterlife?

Favorite lines: 'You missed when time and life shook hands and said goodbye./When the earth folded on itself./And said "Good luck, for your sake I hope heaven and hell/are really there, but I wouldn't hold my breath."/You wasted life, why wouldn't you waste death?'

I've been listening to a lot of different stuff recently. To be honest, I had been in a musical rut for awhile. The last two lines hold true for me at the moment. How can I expect to be happy with someone if I'm not happy with myself? Just something to ponder.

Lonely boys and you lonely girls
Here at the end of the lonely world
You're finding out
If there's someone to cry about

Lonely girls and you lonely boys
Playing alone with your lonely toys
Well don't be blue
If there's no one to play with you

Get a grip on yourself you know you should
I got a grip on myself and it feels good
Get a grip on yourself take my advice
I got a grip on myself and it feels nice

When the lights come on and the party's through
There are always a few with nobody to do
Well now don't despair
You'll eventually get there

And meanwhile all of you lonely ones
Here's what to do while you wait for the sun
To rise above
The loneliest kind of love

Get a grip on yourself you know you should
I got a grip on myself and it feels good
Get a grip on yourself take my advice
I got a grip on myself and it feels nice

And it feels nice
And it feels nice 4x

If you're looking for someone to get a grip on you
First you gotta get a grip on yourself it's true

One pill makes you larger And one pill makes you small, And the ones that mother gives you Don't do anything at all. Go ask Alice When she's ten feet tall.
And if you go chasing rabbits And you know you're going to fall, Tell 'em a hookah smoking caterpillar Has given you the call. Call Alice When she was just small.
When the men on the chessboard Get up and tell you where to go And you've just had some kind of mushroom And your mind is moving low.
Go ask Alice I think she'll know. When logic and proportion Have fallen sloppy dead, And the White Knight is talking backwards And the Red Queen's "off with her head!"
Remember what the dormouse said: "Feed your head. Feed your head. Feed your head"

Weird Al - "Yoda" (to the tune of "Lola")

I met him in a swamp down in Dagobah
Where it bubbles all the time like a giant carbonated soda
S-O-D-A, Soda
I saw the little runt sitting there on a log
I asked him his name and in a raspy voice he said,
"Yoda.
Y-O-D-A, Yoda.
Yo Yo Yo Yo, Yoda."

Well I've been around but I ain't never seein'
A guy who looks like a muppet, but he's wrinkled and green
Oh my Yoda!
Yo Yo Yo Yo, Yoda!

Well I'm not dumb, but I can't understand
How he can lift me in the air just by raisin' his hand
Oh my Yoda!
Yo Yo Yo Yo, Yoda!
Yo Yo Yo Yo, Yoda!

Well I left home just a week before
And I've never ever been a Jedi before
But Obi-Wan, he sent me straight the Force
He said, "Go to Yoda and he'll show the Force!"
Well I'm not the kind that would argue with Ben,
So it looks like I'm gonna start all over again with my Yoda

Yo Yo Yo Yo, Yoda!
Yo Yo Yo Yo, Yoda!
Yoda!
Yo Yo Yo Yo, Yoda!
Yo Yo Yo Yo, Yoda!

So I used the Force
I picked up a box
I lifted some rocks
While I stood on my head
But I won't forget what Yoda said:

He said, "Luke, stay away from the Darker side and if your start to go astray, let the Force be your guide."
Oh my Yoda.
Yo Yo Yo Yo, Yoda.

I know Darth Vader's really got you annoyed
But remember if you kill him then you'll be unemployed
Oh my Yoda.
Yo Yo Yo Yo, Yoda.

Well I heard my friends really got in a mess,
So I'm gonna have to leave Yoda, I guess
But I know that I'll be comin' back some day
I'll be playing this part 'til I'm old and gray
The long-term contract I had to sign
Says I'll be making these movies 'til the end of time
Oh with my Yoda.
Yo Yo Yo Yo, Yoda!
Yo Yo Yo Yo, Yoda!

Yoda!
Yo Yo Yo Yo, Yoda!
Yo Yo Yo Yo, Yoda!
Yoda!
Yo Yo Yo Yo, Yoda!
Yo Yo Yo Yo, Yoda!
[repeats]

Great summary for Episode V, in my opinion. Wink

(two girls talking over one another)
there comes a time in every girl's life when she's really got to ask herself: "Is she ready to be going steady?"
there comes a time where she's got to ask herself:
"steady or not? Do u really want to be johnnny's steady?"
Well, first of all, lets see if dating this one boy Johnny......

Three important rules for breaking up
Don't put off breaking up when you know you want to
Prolonging the situation only makes it worse
Tell him honestly, simply, kindly, but firmly
Don't make a big production
Don't make up an elaborate story
This will help you avoid a big tear jerking scene
If you wanna date other people say so
Be prepared for the boy to feel hurt and rejected
Even if you've gone together for only a short time,
And haven't been too serious,
There's still a feeling of rejection
When someone says she preferres the company of others
To your exclusive company,
But if you're honest, and direct,
And avoid making a flowery emotional speech when you brake the news,
The boy will respect you for your frankness,
And honestly he'll apeciate the kind of straight foward manner
In which you told him your decision
Unless he's a real jerk or a cry baby you will remain friends

I'm head of the class
I'm popular
I'm a quarter back
I'm popular
My mom says I'm a catch
I'm popular
I'm never last picked
I got a cheerleader chick

Being attractive is the most important thing there is
If you wanna catch the biggest fish in your pond
You have to be as attractive as possible
Make sure to keep your hair spotless and clean
Wash it at least every two weeks
Once every two weeks
And if you see Johnny football hero in the hall
Tell him he played a great game
Tell him you like his article in the newspaper

I'm the party star
I'm popular
I've got my own car
I'm popular
I'll never get caught
I'm popular
I make football bets
I'm a teachers pet.

I propose we support a one month limit on going steady
I think It will keep you both more able to deal with weird situations
And get to know more people
I think if you're ready to go out with Johnny
Now's the time to tell him about your one month limit
He wont mind he'll apreciate your fresh look on dating
And once you've dated someone else you can date him again
I'm sure he'll like it
Everyone will appreciate it
You're so novel, what a good idea
You can keep your time to your self
You don't need date insurance
You can go out with whoever you want to
Every boy, every boy in the whole world could be yours
If you'll just listen to my plan

This is for my Dora...

You with the sad eyes
Don't be discouraged
Oh I realize
It's hard to take courage
In a world full of people
You can lose sight of it all
And the darkness inside you
Can make you feel so small

But I see your true colors
Shining through
I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show
Your true colors
True colors are beautiful,
Like a rainbow

Show me a smile then,
Don't be unhappy, can't remember
When I last saw you laughing
If this world makes you crazy
And you've taken all you can bear
You call me up
Because you know I'll be there

And I'll see your true colors
Shining through
I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show
Your true colors
True colors are beautiful,
Like a rainbow

(When I last saw you laughing)
If this world makes you crazy
And you've taken all you can bear
You call me up
Because you know I'll be there

And I'll see your true colors
Shining through
I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show

Your true colors
true colors
true colors
Shining through

I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show
Your true colors
True colors are beautiful,
Like a rainbow

Yay you aint dreaming, 2 song lyrics for the price of one lol sorry ^^;;

Sometimes always :

I gave you all I had
I gave you good and bad
I gave but you just threw it back
I won't get on my knees
Don't make me do that please
I've been away but now I'm back
Don't be too sure of that
What makes you sure of that
You went away you can't come back
I walked away from you
I hurt you through and through
Aw honey give me one more chance
Aw you're a lucky son
Lucky son of a gun
You went away, you went away
You went away but now youre back
I got down on my knees
And then I begged you please
I always knew you'd take me back

Just like honey (played at the end of Lost in translation, ahhhhh i love this movie) ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

Listen to the girl
As she takes on half the world
Moving up and so alive
In her honey dripping beehive
Beehive
It's good, so good, it's so good
So good

Walking back to you
Is the hardest thing that
I can do
That I can do for you
For you

I'll be your plastic toy
I'll be your plastic toy
For you

Eating up the scum
Is the hardest thing for
Me to do

Just like honey (x 17)
