This Saturday, March 4, the Magnolia Theater in Dallas, Texas will have a free showing of the new dub of
My Neighbor Totoro. Nausicaa.net has the
details of how to get a pass. It sounds like it may well be overbooked.
I saw an earlier dub of this movie in San Jose, back in the 80s. Miyazaki movies are better on the big screen, and the reaction of the little kids in the audience to Mei and Satsuki's adventures brought another dimension to my enjoyment.
If I were closer, I'd sure go!

That's pretty cool, Pygmalion. I've never actually heard of the movie before but it does sound interesting.
However, this caught my eye:

Hell yes. I actually saw a commercial about this on adult swim plugging this before but still, that's pretty damn cool. Never saw that last one but the other three are pretty damn good like you know what.
Peace.

Why is there a new dub? I thought the old one was pretty good.

Disney is distributing Studio Ghibli films now, so the Fox dub goes to the wall

P.S. I saw the new dub on Turner Classic Movies last month, and it is pretty good as well.
