Isn't that rather old, I think I saw it once or twice, he's an angel, etc?
Very odd to pull that out of the dumpster and replace Big O with it.

OOH! That's show. Thanks for the call back, R.Smith. That actually was a good show. But still, for adult swim to pick up, WTF?
Agreed X Prime. Gargoyles in a kick-ass show, overplayed to death like you know what. But still, a pretty damn good show. The Hunter's Moon saga is one of the best animated shows I've ever seen.
Peace.

Eh...I'd prefer they go get the rights to Hellsing and air that. It's basically the same show. It even significantly drops in quality towards the end (hellsing had the useless child-vampire character and Incognito which is maybe the most inane villain in anything, ever. And WHR had that whole 'shadowy organization betrays one of its supersoldiers, supersoldier takes them on singlehandedly' thing.)
Or they could get the new episodes of it down the road, which...the first ones pretty awesome.

...AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Oh wow...WOW...I have to see this, I'm making some coffee. This sounds too bizzare to not be worth it.

I haven't seen it since it was on..which...would be what, the mid '90s? So that'd be a good option.

Everyone go on there and begin plugging Noir.
Don't ask why, just do it. You'll thank me when this is all over.

Actually, I heard that Witch Hunter Robin sucked hard like you know what. And I never watched the whole series because the pilot, the first episode, was so damn boring and just bad. But yeah, adult swim should cop Hellsing. I don't remember seeing the end but I do remember Incognito. And when you say "the useless child-vampire character" do you mean Victoria Seras? Because I liked her... if you know what I mean.
Peace.

No, the one she'd just randomly go chat with periodically. I'm sure the character had a name (helen or something?) but I've become used to referring to her as "Useless child vampire", and incognito as "Purple vomiting guy"
edit: Found a picture.
This:
Though I'm pretty sure they killed her off in a fire as suddenly as they introduced her later on.
And if I'm remembering it wrong, thats what should have happened.
Really...every diversion from the manga wound up just being terrible. Incognito, Helena, that...one episode which was just some random lesbian makeout scene between Integra and this vampire thats never mentioned before or afterwords (that seemed to happen twice towards the end, there was also that one guy who was consumed by the freak chips..I don't remember if that was EVER explained)

Thankfully the OVA is...yeah, not even close to bloodless.

Exactly, my man. Although I took a glance at the manga (I should really read that soon) and it sounded pretty damn gory. Makes the anime look like Sailor Moon. But I also remember the "lesbian" scene you're talking, where a vampire was posing as Integra's sister and then she finally realized that she has no sister at the last minute when things are a little too late. How do you do that? How do you forget that you don't have a sister? Interesting. And I don't remember Incognito enough to realize your hating him but he does look a lot like Dhalsim from Street Fighter to me.
What's not to like you ask? Well the fact that she doesn't suck it up and take the whole life of a vampire to heart and just drink some damn blood. But other than that, she's fine in my book. Damn, I should have given her an AA nomination...
Also, I was thinking that since Samurai Champloo is almost over and they got really nothing on Monday's, that they should consider bringing back the O on the regular weekday block. It wouldn't be a terribly bad idea if I say so myself.
Peace.
