Dorothy's Link To Megaduces

I just got through watching act 1 again and I noticed something I never noticed before. In act 25 or 26 Dorothy linked up with Big O for the Final Stage. I always wondered why and how Dorothy linked w/Big O. In act 1 Dorothy kind of links up with Dorothy 1 and imitates her. After Dorothy 1 is destroyed R. Dorothy turns toward Big O. Do you think at that point Dorothy's "Relationship" with Dorothy 1 switched to Big O.

example.) Dorothy is the core memory to dorothy 1
then she is core memory to Big O

do you think a megadeuce has to Choose his own core memory to unlock his true power...?

That may very well be a possibility. I always thought that Dorothy was simply staring at Big-O in disbelief, but your explanation seems give it a lot more meaning than that. It does sort of make sense in how Dorothy just stood there like a statue.

However, about the only thing that doesn't quite fit is that Dorothy was kidnapped and put into Dorothy 1 after that scene during the 2nd act. Of course, she was connected to Dorothy 1 by Beck against her will so it doesn't really put any major holes your theory.

thats pretty good man. it does make sense in a lot of ways. but if I believe a megadues needs a core memory to function properlly. So if Dorthy did not join with Big O until act 2, how did it function without a core memory before Roger met her?

Maybe they can use their true pilots as their memory core? Perhaps Big O just needed an extra boost?

I'm saying that it needs a core memory to unleash it's true power. A Big needs a pilot in order to make it function for purpose. But it needs a core memory to unleash in Big O's case the final stage... when Big Fau stuck his cords into Alex, Big Fau didn't become anymore powerfull, he was just able to act on his own... I'm saying that if Big Fau had a true core memory then he would have become even more powerful.. It's like the Big itself is a 3 part team. The megadeuce that is powerful but needs a dominuce to control it... to be it's brain and a core memory which before the event could have been androids that unlock true power... maybe dorothy had a memory locked away inside of her.

R. Dorthy seemed to have a link of some sort with a lot of things, like the behemoth found under the city that she somehow communicated with, and the dragon in leviathan.

Maybe in a way R.dorthy was a link between humans and machines, she had some rapport with big o and it even let her control in briefly in leviathan.
