I don't do conventions (since they're really not my bag), but my coworker and her boyfriend are dragging me to MegaCon this year, 'cause he has an independant comic book company and he asked me to go.
There's not much going on there. It seems like your typical gaming, anime and comic convention. Billy West (of Futurama) and George Lowe (of Space Ghost) are going to be there, too.
Anyway, is anyone else going?

Isnt it in Orlando? They had the Fx Convention in O-town last weekend, I went their last year for the first time. It was interesting, and fun. People kept asking if Id go to MegaCon next. Didnt know what they were talking about, and didnt even go...
As for this year, nope, I probably wont be going this year...but Ive heard its fun...and hectic. Have a good time...

....but my roommate is. He's taking his portfolio with him to show to DC and some of the independent companies. You might see him there. Just look for a dude that kinda looks like the current Superboy.

Well, I'm here in the hotel, running on the WiFi service. We got in for free because my friend's boyfriend is part of the whole schpeal. Too many fat goth chicks and Naruto freaks.
If you see someone dressed up as V (a spur of the moment thing, I might add), that's me.
Oh, and I met Man-Faye. What a douche.

Reminds me of Anime Weekend Atlanta or well any anime con really. While fun, it was also a nightmare listening to the "Narutards" tell me I have no taste for not liking Naruto.

I met Billy West. He took a comic from my friend's boyfriend's table, said in Zoidberg's voice "THANK YOU FOR THE COMIC, I SHALL EAT IT LATER!" and left. f***ing priceless.
I met George Lowe, AKA Space Ghost. He was cool.
I also saw a couple of pyramid heads, some Jet Grind Radio charachters, and a couple of hot Ulalas (and one not so cool Space Michael).
