We have alot of new content to put up as part of our anniversary update, so I have decided to split it into two updates. First, I uploaded a new Big O AMV! Be sure to check out this great new video in our
Music Videos section. Thanks to Brock for sending it in!
Also, we received a new 3D Big O game from Shn275! This game allows you to control Roger Smith as he battles Schwarzwald and Big Duo. There are many new features and improvements over the previous 3D demo, so be sure to check out this excellent game in our
Miscellaneous section. Thanks to Shn275 for sending it in!
Check back soon for part 2 of the anniversary update, and soon after that for a fanfic update from Shredder!

The 3D game was kinda interesting. There were a ton of bugs though. I kept falling through floors and walls and for some reason I could not turn right while running. It was also difficult to see, even when using the flashlight. If there was supposed to sound, I couldn't hear it.
For both this game and the previous demo, the programs would only start after I opened them time and again. I'd say about 10 tries opening until the game would actually stay on the screen. And for the demo, when it did start, all I get is a gray screen.
The game shows great promise. I'm simply amazed that someone would even take on such a project. However, there are just too many bugs for me to play it more than just once.

Shn275 sent me an updated version of the game that enables the sound effects and music, so I just finished uploading it to the site. You might need to clear your browser's cache if you already downloaded it.

Wow, the game is much more impressive with sound!
The only majorly annoying bug is that Roger is not able to turn to the right when he is running AND using the flashlight.
And what really is the point of the watch device? I mean, I enjoy the soothing blue light, but does it do anything substantial?

Well...
spoiler (highlight to read): |
In the hall of the giant psycho Schwarzwald head, there are many many doors to choose from. The watch helps you find the right door to go through to proceed to the next level (it highlights it). |
The game was interesting...probably would have been a little more freaky if that "removed level" had remained (it sounded cool =D), but I still like it

It ain't a PSII game, but then again he's only one man...
If there was any real part that I'd possibly want enhanced it would be the fight scene...
spoiler (highlight to read): |
Only two punches then Duo flies away. I was expecting at least 30 seconds or something... |
The fanart at the end of the game though is awesome (#1 is my favorite).

Ooooohhhhh......Yeah, I just
spoiler (highlight to read): |
Ran down each hallway until I found the right door. That's also how I fell into a void of nothingness so many times. |
I agree with the other thing you said too, and also I think that other level should have been included!
Indeed, it is good work for just one man. Are there plans to continue this game and improve it?

Well according to the original threads at SBO....and to the ReadMe file....he plans to take a loooonnnnggg hiatus from Big O game making (a year) until he begins again. Imo I think that's one hell of a break O.o;; But a guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do.

I just finished playing the game.
Short, but the atmosphere was excellent. The Schwartzwald head was teh freaky.

Like Zenigata said earlier, that piece at the end was too brief. I was like WTF? That's it! I thought Roger can run...
Great Work!
